I've been here along with my friends during the long weekend, and we enjoyed having a pleasant meal. The quality of the food was good and it was tasty. Specially I was quite happy with the Beef burger". The only point that bothered me was I had to wait longer than usual for my meal

Food was fairly reasonable, albeit a little expensive. Courtyard was really nice, yet very busy! We were lucky to get a table.Challenging to get in with a stroller, but they allowed our dog which in the courtyard which was nice. Staff were pleasant, no real issues at all!Outside venue is great - just ensure you book ahead!

- Customer service is non existent.(Ordering is via Mr. Yum meaning no one is attending your table! They don’t come to check if you are happy or offer water or salt/pepper….doesn’t make any sense!)- Food is below average(Our fish was over cooked and under seasoned)- There is $10 weekend surcharge and a credit surcharge. With menu pricing already at an inflated cost. Over price and under delivered.- The one star goes to the space and decoration! It’s a shame the management are not customer/food focused!Will not come here, again and don’t recommend it to others. There are better places to go to in this area.

Just a basic pub type meal and atmosphere. Nothing special. Service was quick. Pizzas were ok but attention to detail wasn't great considering we had an allergy to dairy as cheese was dropped over non dairy pizza. Salad was drenched in dressing so only ate top half. Wine was lovely. Booking was easy to make online.

Fantastic location and excellent service let down by overpriced, average quality food.The eggs Benedict ($22.00) were okay but the eggs were a little too firm and the Hollandaise sauce was extremely tart; way too much lemon was used giving the whole dish a lingering sourness that overpowered other flavours.The extras were overpriced and disappointing - a commercially produced hash brown ($5.50) that was the same as one from Macca's and half [yes, half] a chorizo sausage sliced horizontally ($5.50) with the chorizo itself being very dry.The Mocha coffee was okay and the vanilla milkshake was very nice. We should have just had a hash brown and a milkshake each as they were the best parts of the meal.We will try some other places next time we are in the area but won't be rushing back to Koukla.

Ordered the prawn pizza, chicken bites and chips for dinner here. Pizza was nothing special, lacking the woodfire flavour (fairly certain it was oven baked). The chicken bites were overcooked and quite dry. The creme brulee for dessert was quite enjoyable, ending dinner on a higher note than mains.The menu is probably due for an upgrade too - as I ordered a bottle of San Pellegrino sparkling and was disappointing presented with sparkling water from a tap (purezza system).

Went here yesterday lady who made coffee and my wife's hot choclate did great and was soo nice. I had breakfast burger had bit to much sauce on it otherwise was good. My wife had the poached eggs didn't taste great other than that was good experience

Second time that we have been here and it’s a terrible mistake…We paid surcharge for public holiday rates and our food is over an hour late.Staff did not inform us how late the food was going to be and we had to ask them ever 20 mins.Chips where not fresh, both pasta need an extra minute and calamari was not that great.Management did not even apologise for the delay and they are just making a killing with the delay.If you ever come to Daylesford I would NOT recommend this place.

Over all, an utterly terrible experience.- Customer service is non-existent. Ordering is by Mr Yum, so the staff are merely servers and have no waitering or customer service skills whatsoever. We had to ask for water and then again for cutlery after our food came.- Meals are poor quality and expensive (as are the extras). One hash brown, which is a pre-pared Birds Eye/McDonald's looking hash brown is $5.50. The coffee is $6 for a mug (before the added surcharge).- We waited 40 mins for our food, which arrived with bacon that had barely seen a pan, and bread that had only been waived over a toaster, and was unbuttered. The whipped" avocado was in fact just a sliced half.- On top of this we were charged an outrageous 12% 'weekend' surcharge AND a separate credit card surcharge!An infuriating experience. Definitely don't bother with this place. We never will ever again."
