Enoggera Dam
Enoggera Dam is a lovely place to visit which is near from Brisbane CBD. The place is ideal for a single day visit. Visitors can do water sports activities such as Kayaking, Canoeing, and Paddle boarding. There are picnic areas too. Mountain bike trail and walking trail are good one as well.

Lovely swim across the dam with only a few small currents and a few cold patches in the middle. 800 metres either way! Love this peaceful swim and sharing the tranquility with the birds that alight on the water from time to time! Also a lovely kayak and a nice 5km walk as well! Swim is definitely my favourite though!

A safe place for a cooling swim - it's nice to float and listen to the bell birds. The walking tracks around the place are not so impressive as the water views are limited and the vegetation is compromised by invasive plants.

One of the best 10K hikes in Brisbane. Fantastic place to practice triathlons with bike, track and swim options. All the track is wide fire trail that has been recently flattened out. Trails do not come across the dam but exit via a exit around a fence to the right of the bus location. Very relaxing walk any time of the year.

Really lovely spot, good walking and mountain bike riding paths. Swimming area seperate to water craft area. We saw lots of turtles on a walk around the dam. Discovery Centre was closed but looks good.

Enoggera Dam
A beautiful spot only a short drive from the CBD. A great place for a swim and Bush walk. It is quite popular so sun baking / space is fairly limited on the dam bank. You can hire canoes and kayaks from $25 to explore the dam area. Picnic baskets can be pre ordered from the cafe but need to be placed 2 days in advance. Service was very slow so best to pack your own cold drinks and snacks.

It was a fantastic experience to be there and mingle with the surrounding mother nature for couple of hours. Love this place and the surrounding reserve.❤️

Beautiful short walk around the lake. Green lily pads, tiny. Tiny baby frogs hoping along the path, lots of shade. The swimming section is deep, so refreshing after the walk. Watch out for the bush turkey, it looks hungry, sifting through people's things. Kayaks for hire. Relaxing day.
