Great butchers who have a decent variety of cuts at reasonable prices. In particular I love their style of in house biltong. Really nice flavours and thinly sliced making it less chewy than traditional biltong. Thanks Chris and the Terrace Meats team.

The team at terrace meats do a fantastic job, their catering was superb and really made our lives easy! Last minute order for 80 people including salads!

Got a ham from here for early family Christmas. Had multiple comments that it was the best ham they'd ever had.

5 stars. What an awesome bunch of guys.I wanted to send my mother a meat tray for mothers day. I explained that I live 3 hours away and they were more than happy to help even with very late notice to make up a tray and the boss even offered to drop it off. I thought this would be almost impossible to organise but the guys at terrace meats made it super easy.Great bunch of kind hearted people . Highly recommend.

Recently purchased a brisket to cook on my smoker. One of the butchers, without asking, trimmed it perfectly, no need for me to mess about before preparing it. It was the best brisket I've ever smoked, about 4.5 kilos, great flavour and the meat melted as I cut it.We use these guys a lot, always accommadating, always helpful. Their other stuff is really good, risoles, sausages, steaks etc all first class.

Wonderful service and top quality meat. My whole family are in agreement that we have never tasted a christmas ham so beautiful as the terrace meats ham. Wood smoked and not too salty while maintaining moisture. They also made an effort to maintain their low prices despite an increase in the price of pork by ansorbing a lot of the costs themselves rather than transferring it to their customers. Definitely our go to butcher :)

Always a great selection with friendly and helpful staff. The sausages are amazing, ive never had better.

Not happy at all tried this place for the first time yesterday tried getting crumbed chops/ cutlets first time I ended up with crumbed steaks I took that back second time I had asked atleast 5 or 6 times is this crumbed chops and he said yes mind you I was heading back into work and the butchers closed before I finished my shift so I was unable to take them back that day , I had gotten home ready to cook only to realise he had given me crumned pork , I tired taking them back today was told it was my fault he wasn't able to refund or exchange he spoke to me so rudely I went home called up instead to try and speak to a manager and the same person answered he had so much attitude when I tried to tell him I what happened when I said I asked atleast 5 or 6 times is this crumbed chops he procceeded to the repeat himself saying no you didn't such an immature and childlike

Was a regular customer purchasing a minimum of $100/week with a positive relationship with the staff at the Marketplace store. Unfortunately at Christmas 2021 I turned up to collect my pre-ordered pork roast (made a special trip out which many would know the pacific highway 2 days before Christmas isn’t a pleasant thing to travel on just for fun!) to be told there was no Pork available for me as they didn’t get in as much in as expected. Super disappointed as a regular customer to be told this on arrival - I would have thought that they would look after their regular customers instead of the once-a-year Christmas blow-ins or even a phone call to let me know my order was no longer available to save me the round trip would have kept me returning. I have since found another Butcher and have not returned since. I realised I never explained the reason for stopping my patronage so felt compelled to review. I hope this years regular customers experience a better Christmas pre-ordering experience!
