Commonwealth Hotel - Queensland | The Commonwealth Hotel has been a landmark in Innisfail since the 1930's, surviving countless cyclones including the recent Cyclone Larry. (Large sections of the roof and interior of the building were damaged and rebuilt).

They don't serve wine (even though there's a bottle shop next door) as not enough people around here drink it. There's a gaming room as well as pokies in the main bar. Good bar snacks, I had the chicken toasted sandwich which was really nice. The staff were friendly.
