Elizabeth Grove Surgery

After asking multiple times for the forgotten script to clean up the infection in my two week olds eye, days later and I'm still waiting. I'm now having to find another Dr to try help me get it sorted.

Unfortunately I feel the need to write this review. After 40 years attending this practice, I now find they are charging a huge gap of $55 if you do not have a concession card. This gap is even charged if you simply need to get a new blood pressure medication. This is disgusting considering the demographic (Elizabeth is a low socio-economic suburb). Quite frankly, the surgery owners/director/s have become extremely greedy - that is the best way to describe it. I had to pay $50 for a simple removal of ear wax - never before have I had to pay for this. SOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED THAT I HAVE HAD TO RESEARCH A NEW DOCTOR AND PRACTICE THAT ARE NOT AS GREEDY. ADDITIONALLY I BELIEVE THIS PRACTICE HAS OPTED NOT TO READ OR ANSWER ANY REVIEWS - HOW CONVENIENT.

Been attending for over 15yrs and have watched a slow decline in care and management.My regular doctor's came and went (to do rural placements) and from then, I've had minor inconveniences with visits but after a certain amount of time, you have enough.From not being told my appointment is cancelled until I arrive at the door, to not being able to see the nurse and doctor on same day???!!! (Never had issues prior or anywhere else), vaccines not available when appointments made for weeks. Empathy is also lacking more as time goes by. Its abit like your feelings are brushed off as nonsense or an excuse to some extent. It's a shame when I used to hold the practice under such high regards.

I saw Dr Jain today after hurting myself yesterday (bruised ribs) as my regular gp was booked out. She was very nice, checked me over and put my anxiety to rest, and advised me which pain relief to take and a cream I could use on the bruising. Had to wait a while over my appointment time but that was fine; the clinic was very busy and the staff were clearly doing their best. I will definitely go back if I ever need to.

The place has no aircon and was horrible to wait in the waiting room, it's a dump in an old trust house and the staff aren't nice. The doctor STANK badly of BO. It hit you as soon as she opened the door, it was seriously unpleasant and unprofessional. The doctor made no diagnosis and sent us home. We will never return.

NO STARS AT ALL. This place NEVER GETS BOOKED FULL, why? It’s a bad service that’s why. That seems Jain needs more educating as she lacks a lot. I would never trust her, sly, cover ups and she lacks empathy. Imagine what her own children had to deal with…

DONT BOTHER…This surgery should be shut down….Bad service from a old female doctor, rude and unprofessional. It’s all about the $$$$$. I feel for all the elderly that she’s making money from…

Horrible service. No wonder they’ve chosen not to be rated on health engine. Waited over an hour past my appointment time for a phone appointment, including calling them to find out what was happening with my appointment. Dr was good and gave me the care I needed but I asked the receptionist to read back my email account to make sure it was correct and she said of course then said bye and hung up. Disgustingly dismissive and also not LGBT friendly

This place doesn't deserve ONE STAR.. what a joke save ya money don't bother going there at all. You'll wait for well over an hour to be less than 2 minutes in with doctor" Jain... As a patient there

I would rate it a five star because of Doctor Jain,, but I had a very despicable experience with the female receptionist. She hanged up on me five times when I asked her for the directions which was less than a minute away. I ended up being latefor the appointment and spoke to the male receptionist, Luckily the doctor was nice and saw my child few minutes later.
