Honestly if you don’t have pretty privilege don’t come in, walked around and obviously needed help, didn’t get it, just workers staring at me, it’s a real shame honestly I don’t buy from businesses that pick out and select the people they want to greet and help, I hate Mecca for this and for some reason it happens at every location, I never get asked if I need help with anything. What a shame

I was visiting Sydney in January, so this review is a little late coming, but my personal experience with many employees in Sydney was not great. They often had a not my job" attitude. But I wanted to express a huge thank you to Zoe

Parker at the Mecca Penrith store was absolutely fantastic! She listened to my concerns with so much patience and is so knowledgeable. Being a woc it's very difficult to get the right shade match and I told her my two shades that work and she went to such appreciated effort to match it perfectly. She also made sure she spoke to me about my skin concerns which were causing the issues for my foundation - helped me find solutions for them and gave me samples to help give my skin some care before I invest in them. And was so so so kind throughout! Just absolutely wow! So deeply appreciated.

Good service and friendly staff but not the cleanest which is a shame since it wasn't like this when I last visited. Hard to want to try stuff when I don't know if it's been sanitised since I saw a worker was double dipping with their testers. I know the pandemic is over but I don't think that means your hygiene standards should also be over. Will be doing my shopping online.

Today I decided it was time to upgrade my whole makeup wardrobe. I can’t remember what the employees name was. She was very kind, patient and respectful. She treated me like a friend instead of a customer and that was a very different experience which I appreciated very much.But I did spend over $800 and she might’ve accidentally given me the wrong shade ! She did colour match me and I was really happy but she must’ve given me the wrong one ( Too Faced ). Also the primer it was the wrong primer the one she had show me was different packaging. So got the wrong primer as well ( Hourglass).Other then that it was an amazing experience. Also if there’s anything that you can help me to get the correct shade of foundation and the right primer please let me know !

Always a really great experience in store - helpful staff and attentive. Always offering samples and advice. Doesn’t matter what amount of money I’m spending they always treat me the same. Love going in there

A lovely and unique experience at Mecca! Met with the very talented, Claire who assisted me in finding the right foundation and other make up products. She gave me the amazing glow up feeling that I haven’t experienced because I was applying the make up myself… duh! Claire provided all the right tips and was so kind and friendly. Highly recommend her amazing work
