A great team!! Fit me in last minute (not to be expected) went out of their way to ensure that I could get back home 2.5 hours away. Another Coopers shop drove halfway to sorrel to drop parts off so the job could be completed in time!! Went far beyond the call of duty.101% effort thanks so much.

Exceptional service and recommendations.We had a flat tyre. Took it to them for a puncture repair. They pumped it up and tested it in their water bath and couldn’t find any leaks.Advised it may have just come off the bead during our 4wdingThey swapped it back over with the spare that was in its place.Refused to take any payment even though we offered. Great service. Don’t find that often. We would recommend them.

Friendly service but couldn't fix my suspension problem.

The manager fit my car in for an oil change at fairly short notice, which I needed as I was on holiday. The car was ready to pick up earlier than predicted, and staff dealt with my unthinkingly having left bicycles on the roof racks, which would have been in the way when lifting the vehicle.I have a few complaints:- I was told the price would be higher than the standard rate because this is a European car. The oil and filter needed are not unusual, and the positions of the filter and sump plug on this engine are extremely easy to access. There is nothing about the car being built in Europe that should increase the cost for an oil change compared to other common vehicles.- The oil was overfilled. By how much, I am not sure, since there was a substantial leak I did not notice until a few days later. I determined the cause of the leak was that the filter had not been tightened at all.- I was charged for a brake light and parker bulb replacement. I believe this was unnecessary as I had checked the lights the day before after replacing a headlight bulb. I know the brake light in particular was fine, as I found the old bulb where the technician had left it, in the boot sill and in working condition. Perhaps the technician had read error codes relating to the bulbs and replaced them on this basis alone.- I was told that all tyres needed replacement. The rear tyres were indeed due to be replaced, but the front tyres had at least 4mm of tread at all points.Having noted these issues on what is a basic service, I am unable to recommend this business. I have to wonder whether the correct oil was used, or would the system have been (over)filled with whatever vaguely appropriate oil was on hand.

Not just tyres! Consistently great and fantastic charges.I've had many repairs done on my car here, new tyres, new windscreen, services, replacement radiator; and I will keep coming back.They won't rip you off, I can promise you that.They also take the time to explain what the exact problem is, and how they've solved it, which is impressive (as a female I've been talked down to by many a mechanic in the past), and give an itemised bill.Consistent 5 star service.

My dash showed an EGR warning, and I went to my mechanic of 23 years. Not Coopers. That mechanic looked after my car, my wife’s car and our kid’s cars while they were living at home. We never took any new car under warranty to the dealer rather we still did all those services with the same mechanic. When the warning light went off my mechanic said stop by and I will hook it up to see what the problem is which was EGR related but nothing further. This was information I already knew. He said he was busy and unfortunately could not get around to looking at it for repair until May (this was the beginning of February). To complicate matters I had planned to use the ute to tow a van around Tassie the next week. I called Cooper Automotive in Sorell and they said drop it in and they would do a full diagnostic to see what exactly the problem was. I was subsequently called by them to say they needed to have a particular person at Cooper Mornington look at it but the long and short was it was still going to be a few days, so the holiday was going to be cancelled. They moved the car the next day and later that day I got a call to telling me what they needed to do as well as a call to say it was done. I guess my mechanic is happy to do services but how can one wait three months with a car in limp mode. Cooper Sorell couldn’t have been more professional. Imagine having the humility to say we need a different mechanic for this one issue, then getting it done well within two days and nothing was too much trouble. They even moved the car themselves. Really Really Impressed and I don’t need just a service firm I need a service and repair firm and it will be Cooper Automotive Sorell.

Booked some tyres to be changed and they couldn't do the job turned me away

Touring in the area and punctured a tyre. These guys repaired it while I waited. Very impresed with the service; very friendly, professional, efficient and good price. I woyld be happy to have these guy’s as my local goto tyre shop.

I noticed that I got a flat tire and somehow drove to the nearest repair shop in Sorell. I'm very satisfied with their quick service (approx. 20 min. without reservation) and reasonable fee (25AUD).
