This is a great place to take a walk when the weather is good. However we always come here to spot the variety of birds - e.g. galah, green rosella, gulls, mynah, cockatoo. You can hear them before you can see them.

Beautiful beach to swim with nice clear warm water surrounded by trees and green grass to sunbathe. Has a toilet block and a hose to wash down the sand when you jump off the beach. There is a take away shop and a pizza place just a few meters away for when the swimming hungers kick in. The beach itself is small however and gets a quite few people. Ps.... Has a floating pontoon which is always fun:)

Supermarket, restaurants are nearby. Barbeque areas, kids play area make the place moving. Great view and amazing place for family get to gether

Lovely peaceful lapping water - clearly a favourite with local kids swimming out to the pontoon and jumping off again.The water is super peaceful, or at least was today on a super hot 30+ degree day.Took the paved walkway from the gated playground to the Searchlight which was a super quick and flat stroll.Lots of different parking areas. Bring your own shade if you’re coming in summer and plan to hang on the sand, saw lots of sunburns in the making today!

Nice little beach. Ample parking. Has a well equipped public shower and toilet facility. Sea water is peaceful and clean. Highly recommended.
