Unhelpful staff at this chemist, wanting to give me a lecture on how to use a PBS safety net cardThey charged me for the prescription when I had reached my limit, so there was supposed to be no charges. Absolutely disgusted and brought to tears by the treatment of an elderly gentleman by one of your staff!! He did not have a mask and stood well away from everyone. When it was his turn to be served he went to ask for his prescription. Your rude sales person interrupted and loudly ask where is mask was. He tried to explain he left it at home, didnt have enough fuel to go back and he just needed his prescription. The sales person screamed ‘IT IS THE LAW TO WEAR A MASK AND I WILL NOT SERVE YOU TILL YOU GET ONE’.Firstly- It is not LAWSECONDLY- you are a chemist are you not? What is wrong with providing him a mask instead of publicly humiliating him?A better way to handle it would be to have some masks available and quietly explain that it is your business requirement to wear a mask. I hope she reads this. I for one will be going elsewhere after 15 years. Teach your staff some manners and educate them on the LAW!
