Huskisson Beach Resort

I can't say what the place is like as I wasn't able to stay there. But I still had to pay due to their very very rigid no refund policy. Less than 24 hours after booking, I simply tried to move the date forward 2 days. They had availability, they just didn't want to do it as I booked through a third party. I explained that a family event I was driving to had been changed but they won't budge and put the payment through immediately after talking to me knowing I wanted to then cancel it. Technically they did nothing wrong given their policy. But customer service and attitude is the worst. Read the fine print and the other reviews. Enjoy my hard earned money you grubs.

Good all around bungalow, equipped just as needed. Staff attended as early as possible (after a statutory holiday) to fix a light bulb that 'exploded' in pieces. Room was well serviced every day and location is right next to Moona Moona beach. I'd definitely recommend.Suggestion for improvement:to have a table and a couple of chairs just outside the entrance + add a bed light on each side of the bed. That would make it a tad more comfortable and can be justified for the price of a room.

If you are thinking about staying in a “Resort” when booking you’ll probably be disappointed.The room was overall clean and the location is attractive but $600+ for one night it’s a joke.Beds wasn’t comfortable at all, you could probably sleep on the beach and enjoy it more.

I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND Huskisson Beach Resort to anyone. Tried to cancel my booking in less than 24 hours. Would be glad to pay a cancellation fee, but they took all my money, saying booking is not adjustable/non refundable. This is terrible experience. Think they should review their cancellation policy.

Be careful during the booking because we've booked from the motel on centre town but we had a room at 1km away nearly out of the city. We had to take the car again to go back have dinner into the centre. There is enough space in the bedroom and the bathroom but beds are not really comfortable, sheets are scratching and the hot water in the shower is not constant....The wifi is not working, very slow and the connection is shutting down every 5 minutes.. and no smart TVNot a good value for the price we've paid 180$!

I booked a room at the Huskisson Beach Resort for my partners 50th birthday, what a huge disappointment!Our ground floor room (Number 1) was located in the main house. Upon arrival, it was hard to distinguish our room as none of the rooms had room numbers. Once we found our room, we opened the blinds to find a caravan parked directly in front of our room/opposite balcony, no privacy whatsoever! No information about the property, wifi password or surrounding area was provided until I called up and complained about it. A on page document was later dropped off, with very little information.Whoever said the property is brand new hasn’t stayed in this room! Bathroom was out dated, it had no exhaust fan and it was hard to distinguish hot from cold shower taps.The balcony flyscreen is old and comes off the tracks. I had to ring up about an iron and ironing board.Clearly they are renovating the downstairs area as exposed wires were hanging from the ceiling, a health and safety issue which seriously needs to be addressed. Thankfully no children were staying with us!The only positive, the bed was comfortable and the area has a lot going for it.We will never return to this property again!

Really unpleasant - we stayed in the larger house which contains various rooms with en-suites - the place stank of an overwhelming unpleasant smell (kind of mildew mixed with old and cleaning products), there was a sanitary pad stuck to the roof in our room for some reason and a hole in the fly screen with a bandaid covering it. The room itself was so incredibly tiny, considering it is supposed to accommodate 4 people (you can’t all move around at once and there is no where to place your bags other then on the floor and step over them). The bunk beds were unmade and the mattress protectors had stains on them. Outrageous for the price! And certainly not a “resort” - I have only given it two stars instead of one as the location is great for kids (straight across from Moona Moona) and the bathroom was good.

Stay 2 night, dead cockroach in the cabinet,bricken dust picker, TV remote was broken. Not proper housekeeping service,thay come and fixed the blanket but not change bed cover,they didn't change the bin.

The room was filthy and horrible for the price. We’ve stayed all over Huskisson and we’ve actually left early because it is so unpleasant. There was mould all through the shower the air con was covered in thick dust. The beds were dirty. Any review where the owners write back with petulant responses to genuine concerns by so many visitors should be enough to discourage anyone from booking this.

Overpriced tiny shoebox sized room, there was a bed, sink and bathroom pretty much not much room for anything else no way this should be called a resort.There was dirt under the bed covers and also shower curtain was covered in mould.Not worth $500 for 2 night
