Stayed at Mecure Kooindah Waters mid week. Was first greeted by a very professional, cheerful lady at reception. She quickly checked us in and had us on our way. We originally booked a ‘privileged room’ which had a faulty aircon switch causing the room to over heat. The room was quite large but styled poorly and felt empty. The view from the balcony was of the reception roundabout. We eventually got swapped to a golf course view room which was a downgrade but we felt was much better. The view of the 9th and 18th green was stunning and the room was smaller but definitely designed a lot better.Overall, great service and a nice place to stay. I believe rooms are starting to get a bit dated and are barely clinging to be a 4 star stay.

Great golf course, great staff, place is in serious need of maintenance... not a 4-5 star resort anymore... but still worthwhile and lovely to stay.

Lovely location. Located on a golf course. Room was clean and the bed comfortable. The view over the golf course from my room was spectacular. Even saw an early morning rainbow

Beautiful location with comfortable seating areas. The bar had minimal staff available considering there was a wedding on- poor planning on Mercure's behalf. The staff were very friendly on a positive note and the food was good!

I had a lovely stay here for one night. The staff were very friendly and lovely. I have stayed in a one bedroom apartment and it was very clean and surprisingly spacious, slightly dated, but it really wasn’t an issue. The two balconies need a good clean and better furniture to sit at. Overall I was very comfortable for the night. I had drinks at the club and sat outside, It was very relaxing, a beautiful atmosphere watching all the birdlife return to the lake for the night. The bar and restaurant are well designed and contemporary. The food was great, room service was quick. All up, very happy.

The neighbourhood around the hotel is very pretty and well looked after. The residents are really nice as well. The receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, extremely polite and very helpful. Really happy he told the chef's and other cooks about my nut allergy as well.We stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments. Very nice area. I like how there's parking outfront as well. The rooms are wonderful. Everything is very clean and tidy. Do wish the back door and balcony doors had screen doors though. Mainly so we could keep them open at night, but the air conditioner worked really quickly to cool the place down at night. Top shelves in the bedrooms cupboards do have some dust on them. The cleaners were very friendly and so were the staff that worked at the golf shop.I enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pool area. I was actually surprised on how clean the pools were. No leaves or sticks in the water either which was a surprise, not that that matters but I've never been at a hotel pool that didn't have at least a few leaves in it.The carpark is pretty well lit at night, which is handy if you are walking from the pool or restaurant back to your rooms. The restaurant was really pretty. Loved the interesting lights they have hanging from the ceilings. The chairs were very comfortable. Do feel like the tables were a tad bit high but comfy nonetheless. I would like to thank Thomas our server for the three nights for double checking with the kitchen if the meals I wanted to order were safe for me to eat due to my allergies. He was also very polite towards us and very welcoming. The mocktails I had were perfectly made as well. The skin of the salmon was a bit too salty though. Not sure if it's meant to be like that or not. I don't have salmon much. Very tasty though. All the other meals including the salmon was cooked perfectly and neatly presented.I would 100% reccomend this place to anyone wishing to stay in Wyong, and if we were to come back we will most likely definitely staying and eating here again. Thank you for the wonderful time and hospitality. We appreciate it greatly!

Worst hotel experience. We booked the rooms approximately 12 months earlier for a family wedding that was being held in the area. On booking we were asked to inform the resort so a discount would be applied. The resort was informed we were travelling with an elderly woman who needs a walker for mobility. The staff suggested a 2bedroom unit. A week out from the booking a phone call was made to the resort questioning about the facility’s and the rooms when it was explained the bedrooms for the 2 bedroom apartment were both up stairs. We were then informed that the resort had 7 rooms still available and they would place a connecting room aside. On arrival and investigating the rooms at no stage could the elderly woman have got upstairs. The connecting rooms were on the ground floor but the shower was over the bath with no hand rails for support. The rooms smelt of cigarettes.Staff were rude and the restaurant was understaffed so service was poor.I made payment for all the rooms I had booked for my family on arrival to the resort and when my son and his wife arrived the following day he was recharged. The numerous times spent with reception to get the money refunded was ridiculous. This took two days and in multiple transactions. When speaking with other members of my extended family it was discovered I was charged a lot more than them when this was raised with the hotel all that was said was that was confidential and they wouldn’t discuss the matter. I asked for an invoice which nobody could produce until 7days after payment and there was no obvious discount. A person by the name of Chase rang stating he had tried to phone me without success but I had had no missed calls. His explanation to all my issues he couldn’t answer and ended up stating he runs his arse off in his job.If it wasn’t for family and friends at the venue the experience would have been disgusting.

Our first time eating at the restaurant here. Fantastic food. The service is first class. Not too loud. Just a nice restaurant where you can actually have a conversation without yelling. Highly recommended

I photographed a wedding a while back at Mercure Kooindah Waters Central Coast and just loved the whole experience. The guest rooms are large and spacious and great for wedding preparation. And the grounds of Mercure Kooindah Waters are beautiful and well maintained and lovely for wedding photos. The reception room is large with high ceilings and the staff were great. Great place for a Central Coast wedding.
