Old Bull Creek Luxury Retreat

Last weekend we stayed at the beautiful Evansdale Villas as we had a wedding near by. On arrival we were greeted with the very friendly Rosemary who is the owner. The place is immaculate and very modern! We enjoyed our relaxing/ peaceful stay and will definitely be back for a weekend away! Thanks again Evansdale Villas!

Beautiful location, so close to town. Easy to find. The hosts were available if we needed them, but we were left to our own devices in the beautiful tranquility of the Strathalbyn Country Side. Couldn't recommend it enough.The bath was amazing, shower is huge and the bed is super comfy. Wifi is fast and secure, and the gas fire is sooo cosy.Pro tip: Get up early enough for the sunrise!

We were so impressed with this pristine and modern villa, the views were breathtaking, especially from the comfort of our bed. I particularly enjoyed the bath (supplied with bath salts), perfect for unwinding. Beautiful and relaxing stay!

Stunning property! Incredible views, beautifully modern furnishing, generous and delicious food provisions, luxury bathroom products. The bath is heavenly too. Nice and close to pretty Strathalbyn town centre. Would definitely come back!!

Just spent 2 relaxing days in what I can only describe as 5 star luxury in what feels like the middle of nowhere even though you are only a 5 minute drive from Strathalbyn. Everything is top quality, clean and modern. Quality tasteful furnishings, linen  towels and bathroom products. Latter are supplied in large bottles rather than individual small bottles so thinking sustainably.  Handy built in shelf in the shower which was great for keeping all your shower items close at hand. Loved the large rain shower and the deep free standing bath where you can look out to the open fields while having a relaxing soak. Generous Continental breakfast supplies from local producers which included toasted muesli, fresh local strawberries, milk, yoghurt, croissants, banana bread and brioche rolls. Beerenburg jams, butter and fruit juice (you won't go hungry). Beautiful touch with a welcome letter and bottle of red wine from a local winery and 2 heart chocolates. For a cold wet weekend there was nothing nicer than sitting infront of the gas flame fire enjoying that bottle of red with a nice platter. The bed is king size, so comfortable and bedding was definately warm enough for this cold frog. I really cannot fault anything, Perfect spot for a romantic weekend away with absolutely everything you need. Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to come back. Thank you Rosemary and Terry, you have thought of everything.

Our host Rosemary was very friendly and welcoming. The villa and vistas are amazing! It’s new, modern, well designed and spotless. The huge windows really allow you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast provisions were generous and tailored to our dietary needs. Everything was high quality, including the soaps and shampoos. Even though it’s only a few minutes out of Strathalbyn town centre, it feels very secluded. Highly recommended! Amazing… perfect location & stunning views. The quality of products, bed lined & towels were outstanding. Breakfast provisions included. Great place to get away from the rat race, sit back, relax & slow down. We absolutely loved our stay and will most definitely be coming back….

Absolutely beautiful! Would stay again and again. The villa itself is so much more spacious and open than the photos did justice. The view was beautiful and so calming to wake up to. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed from the personalized letter on arrival to the beautiful continental breakfast. 5 stars!!
