Unbelievably disappointing college. I do not recommend anybody to come here at all. If you're planning to move here because you're interested in USYD, then I highly suggest you change your mind. You're going to regret big time here, especially if truly want to study.Let's talk about location. Taylors College is located in Green Square. There is literally nothing you can do around there, it's mostly apartments. Moreover, you need to walk 9-12 minutes everyday from Green Square station to Taylors College. During my breaks, there are little places to go eat and the nearest place is an extremely small cafeteria behind the college (It looks more like a canteen than a cafe). If you live in homestays like me, chances are that you are going to live very far away from the city. Adding another 9-12 minutes of your long journey just to get to college is irritating and exhausting everyday. Taylors College is no where close to USYD. UTS is close to UTS INSEARCH, UNSW has their foundation program too inside but UYSD?? USYD is a galaxy away from Taylors college. I was bored to death with the area and I often risk my time to eat lunch in central during my 2 hours break. There's more interesting places in Central, Green Square is in the middle of nowhere.Class:The earliest class starts at 8:00 and if you live far away, it's going to be exhausting no matter what time you sleep. Classes are small and the technology is not consistent. There were many occurrences where the teacher was unable to write on the digital board or other technical problems such as no audio.Subjects:The only subject I enjoy is maths. Ironically, I dislike maths throughout my entire high school but since maths is the only objective subject free of any bias in the school, it feels like a fresh breeze amidst a hurricane of nonsense. I am sick and tired of the ridiculously high influence of left wing ideologies in this college. For example, my English class is literally all about Gender Equality. ENGLISH class is not even about ENGLISH anymore for heaven's sake. The English diagnostic test consists of readings entirely about gender stereotypes, masculinity and femininity. Essay topics are ONLY about GENDER EQUALITY, you cannot choose any topic. READING TESTS, also about gender equality. PRESENTATIONS also about gender equality. This is absolutely ridiculous and appalling. Brainwashing teenagers into thinking that gender is completely a social construct. It's NOT, it's PARTLY a social construct and PARTLY biological, anybody with proper common sense can understand that clearly.I don't dislike the teachers although I find most of them arrogant and prideful despite not being literate in technology, what I detest are the concepts and ideologies that they are promoting or forced to promote by the college.Demographic:When I first arrived, I expected a diverse student population from different parts of the world. To my utmost disappointment, the college is 95% Chinese. I am not against Chinese people since I am of Chinese descent myself and I have Chinese friends too. What I am against is that the majority of the students are Chinese when it is supposed to be international students". Not only that

Did USFP here back in 2001. The environment was modern and nice. Staff were apparently friendly and helpful to overseas students. Gave timely feedback and took steps to ensure your parents back home know about your progress here, which is nice. I graduated with a good mark and got into a competitive undergraduate program at UNSW [Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)]. They delivered what they pledged to their students. Would recommend to anyone who wants to study in Australia.

The teachers are quite supportive but some aren't. Some of my friends have decent English skill but they almost failed English for some reason... I don't know(I'm waiting for the result as well but if I fail I won't be surprised, I do suck LOL). The varieties of nationalities in this college is not that many, 80-90% are Chinese and 5%from other Asian countries, so if you want to make friends from many different countries this might not be your choice. Also, the common facilities aren't good, broken microwaves, limited seats to have lunch, and dirty restrooms!!I'm serious! Toilets! I was so surprised seeing such 'scenery' in a 'college' where I'm sure that all students have 'grown up' enough to clean after their mess. I'm sooooo done with the toilets.

Absolutely appalling security guard on the ground floor!! Parked my car in the basement parking lot. Got yelled at and questioned where I was going at the lifts and was refused access back to the carpark after my appointment. If you need to drive here, park in the street instead.

Teachers are patient and willing to help students. My English wasn’t very fluent at first, but the faculties are willing to slow down their own opinions and listen to me express my ideas, and gave me a lot of encouragement. This is indeed an international school for many Chinese, but please remember that truly successful person do not use the Internet to spread their grievances and inadequacies, or to make statements that are actually racially discriminatory. People all over the world should get along well with each other. If you are surrounded by such a number of Chinese people, you are welcome to come to China to experience what is called the huge population. I think this is a place where opportunities and personal potential can be exploited. If you are not good enough, please shut your mouth and work hard. Don't try to find any excuses for your immaturity. Grow up! Haters gonna hate and players gonna play.

Wanted to explain to the Dean Rosie what happened, she closed the door on my face. Extremely rude, money minded does not care for the students definitely will not recommend coming to this school. The teachers were nice, the only problem i found was the dean

I had USFP here. Most of the teachers and staff were great. As for some students who think they had terrible study experience here, they got no one else to blame but themselves. They don't study, don't know how to study and are not willing to learn how to change it.

A terrible school with terrible teachers. The dean of school, Rosie, cares about money instead of her students. She won’t let you transfer to another institution once you have enrolled in Taylors College, because it would lessen their profit. Moreover, she would explain to you that those limitations are from University of Sydney, whereas the solutions she gave are worthless. In addition, the academic level of Taylors College is extremely poor - teachers in Taylors College are not professorial. They insists their own thoughts, even if they’re wrong. They never accepted students’ explanations. It seems they are teaching their own thoughts rather than useful knowledge. Furthermore, some teachers even cannot speak a good English. They speak in some strange accents, for example, “tree” is three from them.In conclusion, it’s not recommended to enter Taylors College.

I studied in Sydney campus for 8 months in an intensive foundation program. Teachers are helpful, although some are not expert in their field. The diversity of nationality of students is not as great. Overall it's a good international college in terms of academic, poor in terms of social life and average in terms of facilities provided to students.

Terrible schools, half the students vape and indulge in devious activities including swearing, fights and watching adult content. The school has the worst teachers who taught nothing. Never go here!
