Caitlyn Rees helped me with a new lease and the process couldn’t have been more streamlined and easy. She was very helpful, friendly, always available and tried to make us do as little as possible. We were moving from Geelong and she helped us through the logistics of being away, helping organise remote viewings and giving us advice since we didn’t know the area well. Landlords avoid! Unfortunately I leased my home out through this agency and absolutely would not recommend them.During the period of the lease, there were multiple occasions of poor communication from the agency. The agency did not appear to have an adequate understanding of the legislation or their role. Dealing with them was stressful and I found them to lack transparency and honesty and there was a failure to acknowledge any fault on their behalf.They gave out keys to my home to the former tenants a week after the lease had ended, despite my clear instruction for this not to occur. They also permitted the former tenants to complete a DIY concrete job on a portion of driveway due to damages they caused during their lease, despite me having already said no to this occurring and advising the repair needed to be done by a professional concreter. The agency took no responsibility for any of this.I am aware of people with property managed by this agency who are now withdrawing and exploring other agents for this role, as a result of my experience. I would strongly suggest landlords avoid this agency.

I asked for the house key back when no one else was going through the agent would not give it to me. He wanted to have a photo shoot and we agreed that this could be done after I left, However on 15th,May. I was still there, he rang me to tell me that the photo shoot was this afternoon at 4.30. There was no discussion and i tried to talk to him but he was going to have his way, eventually I gave in but said NO ONE was to be on the property he agreed and said they would only be out the front on the street. The next day i received an email from him and i thought someone had been in the backyard sure enough things had been moved. I went an rang him to ask him and he could not answer the question I asked again and he told me someone had been measuring the carport the carport is on the property. Immediately this showed me the agent was untrustworthy and he still had a key to my house I changed the locks straight away. The people on my property without my permission were there illegally.

Caity just recently assisted our family in finding a new rental and was fantastic to deal with. Great communication and was extremely helpful regarding any concerns we had. She has made the process feel not so overwhelming and has gone above and beyond to help out wherever she can. Highly recommend Caity if you are looking for your new rental.

I have had the pleasure of leasing from this real estate since 2013, back when it was Stockdale & I can honestly say I can not fault them! Coming from working in real estate for 15 years myself, I know great service. These guys are the best on the North East at what they do. Thank you

Lesson learned, indeed it was.Humbled by the experience.Like a warrior, I was forced into enduring a very bitter and ruthless sales process at the very end. To then be told, given the current climate, there would be no way the property could be leased no more than $500/ week. This left me so disappointed given all the possibilities for potential tenants. However, the property got signed up by amazing tenants IMMEDIATELY after the property got legally signed over to me.

Jade was terrific; Very efficient, polite and friendly and listened to any concerns from our inspection, treating us and the tenants with great respect and listening intently.By the time we arrived home we already had a report from Jade where she had attended to any matters discussed just a half hour before!! . Would highly recommend Jade and hope she stays with O’Brien Real Estate Joyce for a long time.

Due to a job offer in Wangaratta, I was required to relocate from my long-time home in Melbourne. The thought of trying to find a rental was daunting and stressful, especially as it was time-sensitive. However, Caitlyn from Obrien made this process extremely easy for me.
