I would highly recommend The Local Gym Woombye. I retired at 30 June last year. After may years of sitting behind a desk in an office I needed to get an exercise regime going. Since joining the gym my overall fitness and strength have improved dramatically.A big thanks to Nathan and Jesse.

This is easily the best Gym on the Sunshine Coast. Everyone that works there or those that attend are so friendly and helpful which creates a great atmosphere. It can be daunting going to a gym but not when it’s the Local Gym at Woombye. The people make it very comforting. Everyone arrives and leaves with a smile.

I have been coming to The Local Gym since Nov 2017.Nathan and his team of Personal Trainers and the Exercise Physiologists have created a very professional and friendly environment where the staff and clients alike enjoy work together to achieve.There is plenty of equipment to cater for all, the staff are very knowledgeable, my program is designed to meet my needs, Since starting at the gym my strength and balance have improved immensely.I am a DVA client and look forward to my bi weekly sessions, with Jesse and Shianne.Nathan and Mike also add their input to keep me motivated.The Local Gym is the friendliest gym I have ever been involved with!! The Local Gym Woombye
This is such a fantastic local gym :) the instructors are knowledgeable and friendly, and the classes always feel welcoming, fun and motivating. You feel like you are part of a supportive community when you are there. Brenton has been a wonderful personal trainer too; he has a great knowledge base of health and exercise, and seems to have a real genuine care for supporting his clients in their fitness journeys. Thanks for all your help this year guys!

Thoroughly enjoy attending the group classes at this friendly local gym. A mixture of HIIT and weight training classes for a complete program. The trainers are very approachable and the atmosphere is fun and friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the Woombye area!

The Local Gym Woombye
The staff at The Local Gym in Woombye genuinely care for their clients and provide a friendly, encouraging environment. This is a small gym but has everything you need. Depending on the time you arrive you can have the gym to yourself or join in a class that’s being run. I recommend this gym to people who ordinarily might feel intimidated but large gyms or need some assistance with their health/programs.
