Amazing music selection, great drinks and fast service. Perfect for a night out. Not to mention the decor of the place is so pleasing on the eyes. Loved the experience.

Great music and atmosphere, had a lovely 3 pints of Byron Bay Beer. Met some lovely Fairies (on a Hens night) from North Brisbane all having a good time. Awesome.Has it changed?? Well it seems so, after moving to the Valley some 5 Months ago, the Sound Garden had been my go to bar on a Saturday night for 3 pints of Byron Bay Beer, mostly visit for the promoted Happy Hour which is advertised at 6.00 to 8pm anyhow on my visit today at 6.15pm I was charged the full price of $12.00 a pint, after asking the barmaid why isnt it on happy hour pricing? she said she only started work yesterday and so asked her work colleague about the price and if it was indeed included in the happy hour pricing, her colleague said it is no longer included in the happy hour, I asked which beers were included and drew a blank look. Anyhow I am quite dissapointed and will find a new watering hole. The advertised promo is still displayed on the first floor advertising board.. pictures attached. Point to note my photos have over 3.4 Million views.

Great atmosphere and enjoyed the live music. It’s a really chillaxed place to listen to music, eat and have a drink. The hanging greenery from level 2 brings a whole new dimension to the venue- the fitout is great. The food was tasty and filling. The bar/security staff were very accommodating for intoxicated guests in the booth next to us. There wasn’t a drama, just polite questions to to be a bit quieter. It’s a nice change in the valley! We will definitely be back :)

Music was good. Bar staff were friendly and professional. Dislikes. The floor thru the whole place was sticky. Like walking on sticky tape. The sitting tables were not clean either and the speakers on one side of the venue were not working properly. Kept coming on and off which was a bit annoying.

I was walking past, no real plans, so I stopped in for a Sunday parmy ($28).The place is incredibly done up, and looks very lush and grand. After ordering at the bar I grabbed a seat in the mall and watched the sunset reflecting off the towers. The parmy was good, generous portions and it was well put together. The salad was fresh and crispy. The plain thick cut chips weren't great though, there was no flavour and dried my mouth out. So I didn't leave a clean plate.Overall the parmy was a no" from me

It is rare to receive friendly customer service these days. Especially by Valley bartenders on a Wednesday evening but Sound Garden provided. Vibe, pleasent. Decor, strong for a pub. Meals were the let down. I would be keen to give them a second chance but was sufficiently bad enough to wonder what would come of it.Great for drinks and vibe, maybe consider sushi or ramen before heading there to be social.

Came here before a gig at the music hall on a weekday and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Serving size of the parmi was huge! They’ve put a lot of care into this place and it’s paid off.

Sound Garden is always a great spot to go. My adult sons and I attended the Brooklyn 99 Trivia night and had a blast. Food was great, drinks were good and couldn't fault the staff. Looking forward to the next visit.
