Mars & Venus Hair

Love going to Mars and Venus! Always made to feel welcome and always leave feeling happy and relaxed. Recently I made the decision to have some colour work done, and I am so happy with the results. Simone took the time to really understand what I wanted and to ease me in gently. So happy! Thank you!

Had a wonderfull experience for colour and cut. Gul has magic in her hands, she gets the best ash blonde in my hair. Gul has marvellous understanding of matching matching the colour that will look good with your skin tone. I have been visiting GUL since last 4 years would never go anywhere else even if offered free colour and cut.

I got a fabulous cut and colour from Brent, as per usual, but badly let down by Gul. Had booked to have my eyebrows done while my colour was on, but she didn't turn up. This would (almost) be fine if this was the first time it had happened, but it actually happened at my last cut too. Not acceptable, first time; second time...? Just rude.

Would definitely recommend! This was my first visit to Mars and Venus, and I will definitely return. friendly, down to earth and professional, with massage chairs and a variety of drinks available. They took the time to listen to what I wanted and advised me on what would work well for my hair colour and style and explained why. Even fitted me in at short notice. Lovely girls, love my hair, complteley worth the money. They made me feel relaxed in what was quite a nervous situation for me, I hate finding a new hair dressers. I was 9 days overdue when I made a very last minute appointment. That was about 3 months ago, but I’ve been meaning to post a review ever since but I’ve since had a beautiful baby so....Gul was beautiful - so accommodating and gave me a great new hairstyle. She also gave me some practical tips on how to manage my hair that even I could do (I don’t bother maintaining my hair much). Gul was also honest on what would and wouldn’t suit me, which was appreciated.I also received one of the best hair washes there (I can’t remember the ladies name).Would definitely recommend.

Gul has been my hairdresser for almost 2years now, and always I had great experience with my hair cut and styles . She is just amazing with her service and gives the best to customers. Would definitely recommend mars and Venus.

Tried to cut my hair myself and stuffed it up. Managed to get a last minute booking and Gul was able to save the day! Knew what she was doing and made it look great! Nice relaxed environment to get a haircut. Well looked after!

Gul has cut my hair since I moved to Melbourne a year ago. I haven’t felt the need to look around for another hairdresser because she does such a great job. In fact, I would go so far as to say she can cut my hair better than anyone else has ever done! Aside from being hugely competent, Gul is also friendly, welcoming and full of professional advice. I would definitely recommend Mars and Venus.

I had the best haircut, eyebrow threading, and overall salon experience, I've ever had with Gul at Mars and Venus. Her professionalism, kindness, and talent are all #1. I had my brows threaded, which she did perfectly and without ripping or tugging--I almost felt nothing while she was doing them, and they were beautifully done. She listened to what I wanted done to my hair, carefully explained how she would do the cut, and the result is fantastic. I can't wait to go back. The salon itself is clean, calm, and made for a perfect experience. Thank you Gul!
