Great trainers, and plenty of agility training equipment.

Very helpful with Obedience & the teachers are very good. I use to attend Dover Dog Club many years ago with my 2 Mini Schnauzers. No problems so far. I will go back one year to get my first CCD with my youngest one.

A great place to have your dog socialised and trained. My dog needed to be more comfortable around other dogs and people. This has been a positive experience.

For a place run by volunteers, it offers a range of difficulty levels and different experience from various breed trainers and will suit most dogs. Highly recommend :)

If you want a relaxed, happy and tolerant organisation to train your dog in, this is NOT it. I had a particularly negative experience with the SA Obedience Dog Club. I will first say that I grew up training and showing dogs. My mum had an Australian Champion in obedience and agility and as a child I helped her train and show so I know a bit about how it all works. It was a tuesday night and we were waiting to pay our membership fees. I let my dog say hello to another dog, shes a puppy and she bounced around a bit, the owner and I had been talking previously and she was happy with this interaction. A sour faced SAODC woman with red hair told me to shorten my lead, I was a bit too slow for her because she came storming over to me and went to grab my lead from me. I walked out at that point and told them I wasnt going to join. Its not the 1980s anymore, no one should behave like that. We are there because we have dogs that we would like to be better behaved. A trainer who is unhappy that a new puppy is playing is not an appropriate person for that role. Please be more tolerant in the future

Great place to meet with other owners and their dogs and undertake good training. With pups I recommend arriving early to let your pup play with others.
