Just got back from a trip to Blue Derby to enjoy some MTB action. We used Mad MTB on day two of our trip to do the Blue Tier and Atlas Trail. Dawn and the team were amazing hosts. Very knowledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend these guys and will definitely use again.

Dawn and Richard run a great service and proved to be knowledgeable and flexible. We shuttled with them and were a bit slow getting down ... so our driver called to check we were ok. Also did Blue Tier with them, and loved it so much we did it again a few days later.

Had a more than great experience with madmtb today, rich was extremely knowledgeable, and gave us heaps of options for our days ride, very hospitable and professional. I would recommend anybody of all riding abilities to use this operator

Great company, really looked after us. Drivers are great & super knowledgable about all the trails + a ton of local wisdom.Have used them twice now & will be back for more!

Great people to deal with, Dawn was extremely knowledgeable about the various track options and conditions. I'm a newer rider and took a little longer to do the runs than allotted, because it was a slow day at Derby, Dawn accommodated our slower times and allowed us to get our 3 runs in, which was very much appreciated.

They are friendly and knowledgeable people with great advice for beginners and advanced riders.They seem to have downsized since the last time I used them in 2019. Less shuttles, no hire bikes and have closed their office in town. The only way to contact is email or phone when they are in service or in the office. This is a big issue if you are not with Telstra, have no or very poor service in Derby, or things change on the fly.On my recent trip they were always changing the times for our departures.They moved our Atlas only shuttle 1.5 hours earlier to 12 noon, notifying us mid-morning on the day of the shuttle. Not a big issue for the guys doing shuttles in the morning but we had 2 people who planned their day around being at the trailhead at 1.30pm of which I was one. I only found out about it while having a late breakfast and coffee in town. And then only because the other guy could get limited reception in town. I broke a chain travelling from the accommodation to trailhead just by the pump track, the other guy went on to the shuttle to get them to wait. They wouldn't wait while I put in a quick-link and headed there, I got there at 12.06 and they were gone. There were no other MAD MTB buses running shuttles and no one to be found anywhere.This was my only ride planned for the day, despite paying for unlimited shuttles for the day and it left a really bad taste in my mouth especially when the reason for the time change is they wanted to finish early.They also pushed us 30 min earlier on the last day for our Blue Tier/Atlas run. Only notifying us late the night before, with what ended up no reason other than they wanted to finish up earlier.We had 8 people with shuttles booked over 3.5 days and I would have expected more flexibility. Given the choice I won't use them again.Response to reply:Apologies if the time changes were made by our group coordinator and he lied, blaming you for them.But the plus one made the Atlas shuttle I missed and told the driver I was spitting distance from the trailhead fitting a quick Link and to wait. It may be possible the final call to leave was by our coordinator who has thrown you under the bus already for other changes he has made but he said the driver was unwilling to wait.Also the A-frame you normally have at the trailhead when running shuttles was not there that day. Definitely saw it the next day when we returned from Blue tier.
