Our Mabel was getting a bit shaggy and scratchy. We tried a few local groomers but couldn't get a booking for months, so I called Tom and Jerry's and got an appointment within a few days. When we arrived today, the friendly staff all took time to meet Mabel, and made her feel comfortable, and when I came to collect her, she looked lovely. They listened to my needs and did a fantastic job! Thank you!

Really disappointed. I purchased a love bird for $60 which has been bullied in an Avery and was missing loads of feathers. I’ve bought sick birds back into good condition before and wanted to do the same for him. After 4 days the poor little fella had passed away. His back was crusted over, he was breathing heavy and was constantly asleep; not in good condition since I purchased him. I was offered to take the other bird which was also ‘cheap’ because he had issues too. I obviously didn’t want to go through that again and would prefer to buy a healthy bird and requested a refund which was declined. I’ve been to this pet shop multiple times and it’s been great but very disappointing. $60 for a sick bird which lasted 4 days. Whilst I understand it’s hard to refund on a pet, given this bird’s condition from the start, you’d expect some leniency here..

I was there the day that my daughter bought this bird. Of course she chose the bird that the guy said had been bullied in the aviary (which we were told was the reason that he was missing a lot of back feathers??) as she’s a softy (Still paid the full $60 though!) The bird was never right but we put it down to a bit of stress from his move (slept a lot etc.) until he just died after 4 days. I’ve been shopping at Tom and Jerry’s since it opened (previous owner was great!) but I’d be really cautious purchasing anything from there now as the new owners are really rude and uncaring. If anything goes wrong you’ll be on your own!
