When our gas hot water system gave up, Peter quickly responded to my call, quoted me promptly and ordered me a new hot water system and had it delivered within hours. He installed it that day and was friendly and efficient. Will be using him again.

On day one of the latest COVID lockdown, our hot water system chose the exact moment my wife took a shower to leak water onto its internals, short out and die. After much yelling, half a cold shower, and some frantic troubleshooting of the electric circuit which kept tripping its fuse, I found the guilty hot water system.Searching by Google recommendations and proximity, Pete answered my call for help, and arrived shortly after. Pete took me through repair options, dissuaded me from more expensive products, and arrived at a workable and good value solution. The advice was sound, and the workmanship immaculate. We needed a new kitchen mixer tap installed. Pete arrived on time and was friendly and helpful. His quote was very reasonable.We also asked Pete to quote replacing anodes in our hot water service, but to his credit, when he inspected the system, he said it might not handle the swap over (the HWS is over 20 years old). My wife and I were very impressed with this because it means he's acting in your best interests, not his. If and when the HWS packs it in, we'll be seeking out Pete to install a replacement.Thank you for such a great experience.My advice is to seek out plumbers who quote upfront (where they can). There are other operators who don't quote upfront, instead they attend your premises under a 'no callout fee' strategy, inspect the job, then quote. In my view, this puts pressure on the customer to accept the quote.
