River Haven Tourist Park

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at River Haven Tourist Park.5 stars is not enough to give the rating that should be given to River Haven Tourist Park.The management are always friendly and helpful.The facilities are clean and well maintained.The sites are generous and the park is not over crowded.Will definitely stay here again!

Quite, canoe,kayaking area, friendly not invasive people. Close enough to beach, shops yet far enough to think you are in the bush.

Toilets were blocked.Pool was locked up and the bbqs were filthy.Also no mention of the fishing whalf broken and closed.. waste of time and effort

Nice park. Has various levels to it. Tents are away from caravan parks. Has the toilet and shower in the separate room.

Dog friendly, nicely spread out and lovely owners!

This park is run by a lovely young couple with a great caretaker who keeps the amenities and grounds looking terrific. Great location and feels nicely remote from all the hustle and bustle, is actually quite close to everything you need. Firewood available from office and they have great fire rings to burn in. A nice stop on our south coast trip.

Great place to escape for the holidays. Access to the Tomakin river with boat ramp. Conveniently located showers and toilets throughout the park with a publicly accessible laundry. Lodgings differentiate between powered and unpowered sites, cabins and caravans. Great prices and great service

We had a great stay here for the Easter long weekend. The manager, Storm, was really helpful with our booking, including fitting us in next to our friends. The van spots are large and level with plenty of grass, shade, and a fire pit. The ensuite style bathrooms are clean and modern. The kids were kept entertained with the pool, basketball/tennis court, and table tennis. The river access for kayaking and fishing is fantastic with bream, flathead, and whiting around. The beach and shops are just down the road (4 mins), as is Mogo Zoo. But you are far enough away from everything that it is very peaceful, which is a bonus in school holidays. We will definitely be back!
