The Inchcolm Bar
I went for the live Jazz and a meal. Left early in disappointment.Dinner was way overpriced: just under $50 for one non-alcoholic drink, two slices of toast and some vegetables with sauce. Food was average and one could make this meal at home for $5.The wait staff were attentive and polite. The music was NOT jazz - it was country, rock and pop, which in itself is OK but not what was advertised.

Trip to Oz from Scotland. Been here for 2.5 weeks. This was my favourite restaurant, we’ve been to loads. Staff, food, atmosphere, everything utterly fabulous and wonderful. If I come back I will definitely return to this gem of a place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Debs xx.

Beautiful atmosphere with incredible dim lit ambience. This place is wonderful for drinks and light food however the mains were absolutely delicious. The presentation of the food was beautiful and well priced. The waitress, Maya, was especially thoughtful and kind. We wholeheartedly enjoyed our night and looking forward to bringing friends here.

The eclectic decor and artwork gives the restaurant a quirky vibe. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The tacos were alright but nothing special. The shared lamb dish was very reasonably priced and the serving was generous. Some of the other dishes are a bit more expensive & menu not that exciting. The lamb was beautifully cooked, lovely and soft and melted in the mouth. The flavours were nice, but not amazing. The yogurt that it was served with went quite well with the lamb, but more was needed! Overall, worth a visit, if you're looking for somewhere a bit different.

We had the pleasure of dining in the private room.Food was great and unpretentious, one of the best fine dining experience in Brisbane, and the staff was attentive. As always ovolo have good vegan/ vegetarian options. We didn’t go there for the martini but was an enjoyable experience nonetheless.

- The interior is modern opulent eclectic and busy but is attractive and interesting not overbearing. Still plenty evidence of the building's heritage and superb architecture.- The meals match the interior design in philosophy and execution.- The staff are excellent and seemingly veteren. Professional without pomp.- Music was too energetic. It was unvaried which means not eclectic just stylistically mismatched. Audio quality just adequate.- Bar staff made a poor first impression. I had to interupt their conversation to be greeted.

Great little quirky restaurant with a small dinner menu but a big drink menu. The food was great and the service was on point. Tried snail for the first time which was delicious.

We went for NYE dinner & drinks. The ambience as soon as you walk in is so romantic & moody. The architecture & furnishings have a vintage look, making it feel like you've walked into a speakeasy in the best way possible. It was perfect for date night with a cozy atmosphere & dimly lit lights. My partner & I felt overdressed at first but after a while we started to feel like we matched the atmosphere & staff. The cucumber rose cocktail was delicious & refreshing, the rest of the drinks were of course amazing & they didn't judge us for drinking whisky with coke instead of neat. We had mozzarella & tomato's on sourdough for a starter which just tastes so delicious even though it was so simple. For mains we had an eye fillet cooked medium & cauliflower steak, both with mash potato, caramelised onions & sweet sauce. Both were divine. The workers were all very friendly & delightful, they clearly love their job which really shows & makes the experience that much better. They also encouraged us to explore the hotel at the end which was fun. The staff who was in charge of the bar bookings was really a stand out with his overall amazing attitude.Overall the experience, food & drinks were definitely worth the price which I felt was fair for the quality. Would definitely recommend to a friend & will hopefully come again for date night.
