Cairns Surf Life Saving Club
As is the case with most life-saving clubs, this restaurant is right on the water. Great views of the sea and a beautiful breeze came through at night. I opted for the steak special on Wednesday not expecting too much for my $21. The steak was perfectly cooked to my liking, it had a good thickness and had great flavour. My wife had a bowl of prawns and they were cooked to perfection as well. A great cheaper option if you are on the coast at Palm Cove.

Had a great dinner here tonight. Staff were under the pump all night, we rocked up, family of four, no reservation. They did what they could and found us some seats and a table. I had the prawns and schnitty (that was the special). Chicken was moist, gravy was top shelf. Gret selection of beers. I’m going back for half priced oyster night. Will book a table first.

Great little Club with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.Dining can be inside or outside. The menu is good, with prices moderate.There are pokies for those who want them and a different Special every night of the week.Parking never too far away, and a patrolled area of the beach provided for swimmers.A nice place to visit

Excellent location with large open air dining area facing the beach and the sea breeze. We enjoyed our meals and coffee which was reasonably priced. Great set up with helpful friendly staff.

Magic spot !Cheap surf club meals.$10 lunches and very reasonably priced dinners.Asked the lovely young girl if there was a bottle shop.There was, chose a nice chilled bottle of white.We’ll be checking out the cheap lunch with the fantastic view.

Two stars for the view . 0 for the Chefs Christmas Special". Travelling solo & thought I'd treat myself to an early Christmas dinner as most places understandably closed tomorrow. OMG Worst meal ever!! So disgusting. I eat almost anything & I couldn't eat it. Soggy vegetables & meat inedible. Other meals looked ok. Never Again! I'll consider my cost of meal as charity donation."

Cairns Surf Life Saving Club
My wife and I are regulars at the club.. staff are always friendly and the prices are fair.. we play poker there every Wednesday which is run by FNQ poker League.. great people and a fun night all round.
