We have been bringing our golden retriever Kenny to the Southern Vet Group for many years. Me and my brother Peter would like to express our deepest gratitude to Nurse Harriet and Dr Alex for taking extra care of Kenny for his last trip home. It was a sad time but Nurse Harriet was especially kind to Kenny and she made the extra effort to make sure his last journey was not alone. I have been bringing my pets here for years n years plus boarding them.The Vets, the nurses are just brilliant. Nothing is ever too much. All the animal is checked over when making a decision not just 1 part with appropriate treatment and medication if needed (which is explained in layman's terms on how to use)When we made the decision to send Haighs to Heaven with Mum the care, the compassion ❤️ they all came out with Haighs n I on the grass and cried with me and received flowers and a card saying they are all thinking of me losing a half of double trouble.Thanks guys n gladBeen coming since about 1974 and will keep annoying you guys forever. Thank you for everything and more that you have all done ❤️❤️❤️❤️

On Monday the 9th of January, I had to euthanized my beloved dog, Isaac Newton, it was the hardest thing ever. Dr Peter Suddens made it so special, with the utmost care, love, respect, and kindness. I could not have managed without the utter support he and the staff of this clinic. There is no words of my gratitude and appreciation, for the support they gave me. I know Isaac went peaceful because of Dr Peter. I will be for ever grateful.The very best of Vet.

Our beautiful cat, Thor, was bitten by a snake about a week ago. We cannot thank all the amazing staff at Plympton Vet clinic enough. They were very thorough and caring, explained everything well and got our boy through this horrible ordeal. The skill and compassion demonstrated by all the Vets and nurses was outstanding. Excellent centre whose Vets have gone above and beyond over several visits to assist with our pets. No hesitation in recommending their services.

On Friday, I took my cat in for what I was a routine visit that ended with the loss of my 13 year old tabby who has been with the Plympton Vet Clinic for a decade now. The staff were well above and beyond compassionate and supportive of us, we got the very best vet care on the hardest day. If you bring your pet here, they will fight the hardest of any practice I’ve ever been to give your pet the best possible outcome and if the result is a sad one, you are treated with respect and kindness . They have worked with me closely when my cat developed complex chronic health conditions as well as when she needed vaccinations and a couple of cases of feline misadventure. The nurses are almost always there with a smile and know your pets individually.

Dr Alex was great put my mind to calm and was wonderful with my senior cat

Doctors and nurses are very understanding and know what they are doing. I got my pet desxed it went well

The staff are friendly and helpful. However I've been having trouble with my dog and everytime we go in there is a new vet and we need to start the diagnosis process from the beginning and I'm getting frustrated. There seems to be a high turn over of staff at this location
