10 out of 10. We drove all the way from Perth to try these guys out. The burnt ends and big pig rib were awesome. Nice smokey, peppery flavour to the sauce, so it's not death by super sweet bbq. The meat was all tender and juicy. The staff were friendly and they gave us utensils and serviettes so we could eat it by the water. Will come again, without a doubt! Forgot to take photos.. Oops.

Had a great experience for an easy night out dinner with my partner and newborn baby. Lots of room to fit a pram and staff greeted us at the door.Both had sloppy Joe style burgers and was delicious! The chip seasoning is extra yummy and can't wait to try the Mac and cheese next time! Would highly recommend going on a Thursday, $3 drinks! Price was amazing and feed us both for under $50 with 2 drinks each! We will be going back for sure.

No table service, all orders via an app and paid for there. When food ready, YOU have to go and collect it. The food is a good attempt at American Smokehouse with tender smoked brisket, however the ribs lack meat and not tender. You are encouraged to bus your own table (bin ur food, clear ur table) Very little atmosphere, seems profits are put over quality of service. Wife had a brisket burger which was dry on an untoasted tip top bun. All and All felt like a drive thru, sit down restaurant.

Service was good, though it should have been as we were the only people dining in on a Saturday at 6pm, apart from another table of 2. Chips were average, didn't like the seasoning on them. Pulled pork good.Everything else was nice" but nothing amazing. Reasonable priced though. Won't be going back anytime soon."

Hated everything I got. The beef burnt ends had an ok flavour but meat was kinda dry and could barely eat any. The mac and cheese was horrible and wateva they put on their fries for seasoning was gross. Barely ate anything, threw out everything in the picture, biggest waste of money. Will never eat from here again. Wish I had of read the reviews first.

The best option you have is Tailgate Tourer. Food was really good. The Burger was microwaved though which was a disappointment. Very limited options for food. Esp kids no chips wedges etc.

I'll preface this by saying the only reason we decided to try Tailgate Smokehouse was because they were running a 'kids eat free' special in August. I was skeptical after reading through reviews but I honestly believe they've made improvements since opening.I'm very concerned this place won't survive, prime time on a Friday night and we were only one of three tables dining in at the time. That being said I'm glad we went, the portions were a good size, and yes, chips are now available! We had the Tourer share platter and really enjoyed it, lots of different meats to try, some a little too spicy for me but my husband was happy. I can understand the phone ordering system being unorthodox to some patrons, I personally find it useful when eating out with children, no need to leave them at the table to go and order, however the host made us aware that we could order from the counter if we wanted to.I can honestly say we'll be back and urge anyone who had a poor experience when they first opened to go back and try again.

Had a wonderful time. Great setting. Staff were excellent went above and beyond. Food was amazing. Shared Tailgate Tourer flavours were awesome, and generous in size definitely recommend this as best value on the menu. Would suggest better alcohol selection or make it byo. Other than that was fantastic.

The best brisket I've had outside of Texas. I was slightly skeptical given some of the reviews but I'm glad I gave it a go (honestly how can you walk past brisket?) We were pleasantly surprised by the food quality and the staff were great. My 3 year old loved the mac and cheese. Do yourself a favour and try Tailgate.

I wish I'd read the reviews before going in, they're not wrong. I don't hate the phone based ordering once it was explained, seems like a reasonable way to do it, but they're certainly not passing on the waitress savings. That picture below cost $36. What's not bone in that thing on the left is mostly gristle, it's dry, and I finished it only because I paid. Sausage is pretty obviously a mass produced item, it's no better than something I'd buy at Coles, which is an easy thing to say but I'm not kidding. I decided to eat here for a cheat meal but I don't have any concerns about the scale tomorrow because I'd be lucky if there was 200g of edible product on the plate. Which isn't even a plate. Pretty disappointing effort guys.
