Mount Majura Walking and Riding Trail
Long beginner friendly mountain track. It is the longest track of the Inner Canberra mountains. About an hour to the top without breaks. There are multiple track choices including a loop. Dirt track mainly mixed with stone stairs and is well looked after and wide. From the top of the walking track the four wheel drive track takes you to the actual peak.

Peaceful wandering trials..lots of different ways to go depending on how rigorous you'd like to make it..a must in Canberra.

Its a great place to walk..I walk my dog there...its an on lead walking track..There are many tracks to discover. .Easy walking...to the more challenging walk. .

Mount Majura Walking and Riding Trail
Very nice trail up to Mount Majura, where you're treated to great views out towards north of Canberra and to the airport. The last climb up is pretty steep, but otherwise I had no issues. Maybe not a good idea to bring young kids with you, but definitely 12 and up should be okay.

Mount Majura Walking and Riding Trail
My favourite! The most beautiful bushland and wildlife all the way up, and it's a good workout! A lot of uphill, especially the last part right before you reach the summit with those steep inclines (your heart will definitely get pumping haha) but it makes you feel so accomplished, and nothing beats that fresh air and bush and city views all around you. The track is also very well maintained and locals are super friendly. 100% reccommend this track!

I am amazed I have lived in Canberra for 15 years and never been walking around here. Just fantastic. Grades and trails for everyone. Will be back!!

Mount Majura Walking and Riding Trail
Medium level hike, finished under 2 hrs. Top view is totally worth it. Just be careful of the dog's poo, it seems no one bothers picking up after their dog finishes. Around 2.5km one way from Watson entrance and 800 m elevation.
