Coach House Inn

We found the location was excellent. Parking ok, the gardens and grounds look very tired and need attention. If you get room 14 ask to be moved due to laundry noise.

Very convenient location. Comfortable main bed. Warm heating. Furniture and furnishings could do with an update. Screen door would not close shut. No hand towels in bathroom, no soap in dispenser over vanity, shower pressure very hard to control, hot cold vanity taps opposite to regulations, fan not working, only one heat light working. No broom, pan, vac to clean with. Lamps were dusty. No wardrobe hanging only hooks in second room.

Great location, nice enough room, comfy bed, but could not get any hot water in shower and on a day where outside temp is 4 deg, thats not a great start to the day.

Communication with owners was fantastic very easy. I enjoyed the stay, if anything..... The beds could be upgraded. Otherwise, if your after a sleep retreat for mountain fun, it's close and affordable.

My husband and I booked in off the street . As we were laying by the lovely quiet pool I read some of the negative reviews on this accommodation.Well I have to disagree .Yes the rooms are very old . You get to see the room before you check in so nothing to hide. The bed was extremely comfy. Yes the shower has a trick to it as the plumbing is opposite to what it should be . I asked at Reception and it was explained.Staff were lovely and it was very well priced right in the centre of town.No complaints here. Well done guys in offering a quirky affordable comfy place to stay.

The Coach House Inn is by no means 5 star accommodation, but it's certainly better than we expected for the price. Wonderful location, and ample parking. If you're not planning on staying in your room for your entire stay, and just want a good bed, clean bathroom, microwave, fridge and kettle at the end of the day, then the Coach House Inn will tick all the boxes.

The cleanliness of this place was atrocious. We stayed here with two other couples and we all had to clean the rooms beforehand.We complained to management who then proceeded to tell us that they were short staffed and had been very busy, just not good enough especially when it was nearly $200.00 per night. Anyone that stays there should be aware of the very slippery shower floor , water pressure in the shower is not consistent so therefore you can get burnt and many other issues too numerous to mention.

This is the second time I have stayed here while riding in the Victorian High Country. It is central to everything you need and totally motorcycle friendly! Quiet and full of character, it is definitely NOT corporate. I'll be back :)

Reception was not contactable during the day and there was no redirection to another phone so we had to book via Booking.com without having any questions answered.Arrived to 3 coffee sachets, 1 packet of biscuits, a couple of sugar sachets and no milk. When asked if we could have some milk, we were told that the milk didn't come until tomorrow but we could have some milk in a cup. The attitude of the hotel owner was very blasé.No towel rails in bathroom or hand towels. Bathroom heat lamp was out. Shower hot and cold taps were placed in opposite position. Bathroom tiles dirty.None of the windows could be locked.No Air con in the spare room making privacy an issue.Main Air con compressor extremely noisy waking me up every time it started. When running, it sounded like a car was idling just outside the window. Very little sleep that night.No information booklet for the hotel including wifi password.No smoke detectors.Reception not manned during the hours displayed on their front door.I would definitely not stay here again.
