French Ease

Oh my goodness, the burgers are stunning! French fries and crepes are great too.The staff are very good, giving us enough space to relax and attentive enough for us to not want for anything.Made our excuses to come here 3 times in 5 days. When we come back to North Stradbroke Island we’ll come back here too.

We had a lovely meal this evening. The seafood crepe, the duck confit and lamb special were all beautiful. Highly recommended. It is the third time we have been out to dinner during our stay and it was head-and-shoulders above the others. We may even go back for desert crepes tomorrow as we didn't have room tonight, and they look amazing! Highly recommended. Service isn't fast, but this is good food, not fast food!

We went twice and both times the staff seemed disinterested and unpleasant. We were waiting to be served but the people who arrived AFTER us were served first! The service really lets this cafe down. Apart from that, the food is delicious and the view is amazing (you can see whales while you eat). However, won't be coming back here again.

6 of us went there for late breakfast at about 9.30 or 10 today. Friendly greeting and the food came in a reasonable time and was very nice. The drinks came about 45 minutes after we ordered and had finished our food. There were about 15 people in the restaurant and the majority of us had no drinks. The drink girl was so rude and slammed our drink on the table with no saucer or t spoon. There was no cutlery or sugar available, no water offered, and the staff just seemed to be chilling out playing the music super loud. Such a shame as the venue and the chef are excellent. The drinks girl with the long brown hair should NOT be working in customer service industry and needs to learn some manners.

These guys rock... The plan is to visit everyday whilst staying on straddie. Great food and service. Was looking for one thing on the menu and it was on. View is next level also...

Beautiful location and lovely food. The only reason for the three stars is because we were told that they had run out of one of our orders once we had paid (no problems, we ordered something else), and they had completely forgotten about our re-ordered food. We needed to remind them if the food was coming after probably waiting for 30-40 minutes. After which the food was made. Other than that the food was lovely and the staff were nice too .

The food was terrible. The coffee was bitter and horrible. I can't understand how this place can still be in business. Waitress was so rude we almost got up and left. I had to scrape huge amounts of cheap hollandaise" sauce of my over cooked poached eggs. Overall it tasted disgusting. I could cook better blindfolded. Very disappointed."

Head a great dinner here last night. The seafood crepe was perfect, and the quality of the kids meal cheese burger was so good we'll be back to try out their other burgers soon. We had breakfast here last time we were on Stradbroke Is. and it was also very good.
