I asked in store for a quote for an energy efficient pump. They said we need to send technician out to check there’s enough room for it but I’d only need to pay for the visit if I didn’t go ahead with the pump. Technician came out and I was charged. Two weeks later still no quote so I called. Had the technician who did the home visit on the phone. He said that he’d done what I’d asked for and what my wife had confirmed I wanted - an equipment check!?!? My wife was not privy to any of this - she has no idea about the pool. If he was uncertain as to why he was there all he should have done was call his office. But he didn’t.He insisted he’d done what he needed to. So I asked again about the quote - he kept arguing that he had done what my wife asked. Who didn’t know anything about the pool. When I asked to speak to the manager he said he’d refund the visit, in a tone implying he was doing me a favor and I was being difficult. I again asked is that all he was going to do and his answer was: you’ve got your refund.So no quote for a piece of expensive kit that was going to cost a few thousand with installation. He had been there and could have easily told me if the pump would fit into the area. He refused to give me quote because he was too busy arguing with me about what had happened.I shall get my pump and future business elsewhere.

I have no idea why I paid $49.95 for a bottle of 1 litre Tropical Strength Algaecide and $36.95 for a 2kg bag of Sunblock !! I was shocked when I checked the receipt!! It is doubling the price of the most expensive algaecide sold at Bunnings. Whether they do 2x the job is the big question. I now learn to shop from the Pool and Spa warehouse and reminding myself to be a smart consumer and do my homework. I’ve been a long term customer and I am truly disappointed.

We received great advice on how to manage our pool during and after heavy rains. We also have a relatively new pool automation system and they have been extremely helpful with advising us on this. Highly recommended store, very experienced and knowledgeable.

Highly recommend Malcolm and his team at Poolwerx Killara. Amazing customer service - always so patiently answer my many questions regarding pool maintenance. Am also very happy with my recently purchased robotic pool cleaner.

Originally had a complaint regarding a communication issue between staff. The owner was understanding and gave me a call to rectify the situation and try to understand the problem I had. I really appreciated the time and way this situation was handled. Many thanks.

I requested a quote for a pool filter replacement, the owner Paul sent a quote of $1800 without inspecting the job or itemising the quote. I requested a second quote (having been told by a third party that the $1800 seemed expensive) from Hornsby spa and pool for $1139 where the parts and labour were fully itemised.. I did not appreciate the attitude of Poolwerx, they were very offhandish despite the fact that I was a regular customer take it or leave it

Mark and Paul at Poolwerx Killara have gone above and beyond to try to establish an issue relating to my pool cleaner. They even came out to my house to see how they could help! I have never experienced such amazing customer service from any place, ever! Thank you Paul and thank you Mark!

Went over thrice in a week as I had to shock the pool and get it in shape for summer. Excellent advice and results. Impressive that I met 3 different people behind the counter and all of them had great knowledge and advice.

Both staff are very patient, they explained to me how to take care the pool and write ✍️ down the steps, then i became a regular customer.

Been going here exclusively for 10 years, normally great service, spent thousands with them on my pool chemicals and equipment. Polaris system, spare parts, chlorinator, multi speed pump. Bought a $65 Polaris replacement part on Wednesday, got it home and saw if was faulty manufacture and would never work, called the next day, was advised to bring it back, made a special trip on a Saturday to swap out but because I had lost the receipt was forced to cross back over the pacific highway to get my phone to prove on my purchase via bank statement. Got attitude from the young manager about their inventory system needing the documentation. Well son, I needed a working part, good customer service, not having to make a special trip and not being treated like an inconvenience on my Saturday morning. Replaced like for like, but a terrible experience and made to feel like I was dodgy and they were doing me a massive favour replacing the non merchantable quality product they’d sold me. Service is all bricks and mortar stores have left, on principle from now on either online or Turramurra pool shop for me.
