Lemos has been a very positive experience for our son who joined as a 4yo and has been a consistent member for the past two years. BJJ is a great sport for the kids. My 2 kids train at Lemos BJJ. They started when they were 5 and have been loving it ever since. The atmosphere is very welcoming and not at all authoritarian (like some martial arts places can be). The classes are fun and the kids hardly realise they are being taught, until you see them busting out the moves a few weeks later. Excellent place to train, definitely recommend it !

World Class Jiu Jitsu in Brisbane.If you're a beginning to start your Jiu Jitsu journey, there is no better place than Lemos Jiu Jitsu. If you're serious competitor there are many competition class to test your self. Also there is a wrestling class on every monday night as not many Jiu Jitsu gym offer full take down only class. Highly recommend!

I have been training here for 7 years and am still learning new things every week. Bruno is an amazing coach. The club is so welcoming to everyone too and it has a great family atmosphere. Incredibly technical Jiujitsu gym.

I’ve been training at Lemos for nearly two years and I have to say that Lemos is an amazing place to train at. The amount of support you get from Bruno and the team are beyond commendable and the people that train here are like family. Plus there’s heaps of girls to train with!

I moved from the Gold Coast last year and found this gym to keep my training up. The environment and structure are amazing, I was warm welcomed by Bruno and all the team, nice people at all and high level on techniques, would 100% recommend this Gym for fresh starters and experienced Jiu jitsu lovers.

My son started his BJJ journey at Lemos as a 6 year old and is now 11. With no background in any martial art myself, I was looking for an outlet for his love of rough and tumble, that critically wasn’t about striking. A relaxed, happy go lucky kid, he needed an environment that suited his relaxed and non aggressive nature, but pushed him to find his competitive side and allowed him to engage physically.From the start, the crew at Lemos have made both he and I feel welcome and at home. The genuine care for the the youngsters and the warm engagement with parents extends across all trainers and is a reflection of Bruno’s approach and the familial culture he has worked hard to build. Many of the trainers have kids of their own training at the gym and they genuinely love developing kids into the sport at a pace that suits each individual kid, keeping it fun at all times.5 years on my son is now a developing young man and it is fun watching his development alongside those of his peers at Lemos Academy. I consider him a more respectful, caring and empathetic young man because of his time at Lemos, not to mention a more confident and physically capable one. I know he will be well equipped to avoid trouble in the future because of the training he’s receiving but most beneficial are the friendships he’s making with other boisterous high achieving young men and ladies and the healthy lifestyle he’s witnessing. Lemos provides adult and teenage role models (both male and female) that he’s now seeking to emulate (and compare dad - unfavourably- against!). I get the sense it’s a long term lifestyle choice he’ll embrace.I’d recommend any parent of a young child (male or female- perhaps even more important for young ladies) to give Lemos a chance.
