One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! We came for a mini staycation. The staff in reception and lona misa are all so brilliant at what they do and truly go above and beyond. They even upgraded our room and put balloons in free of charge for the birthday we were celebrating. Great perks, brilliant vegan options and gorgeous, quirky aesthetics.Thanks so much Ovolo, next time we will be back with our goofy weimaraner pup.

This quirky music themed boutique hotel is a great place to stay in Melbourne.Situated on Toorak Rd near Chapel St, Sth Yarra. This hotel is affordable, clean, well presented, and decorated.The reception staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful.The rooms are extremely clean with really comfy beds and pillows. Free mini bar.There is no parking on-site, but just a short ,you can use a parking station on Chapel St, and the hotel will validate parking $6 for 24 hours.Advised to book direct, you'll get a better deal than booking with online Web apps and such.It is a really great place to stay, and I will definitely be a return guest.I really wished I had taken photos.

Fantastic stay! Great service, comfortable beds and you get to enjoy the mini bar for free! They made the stay enjoyable and as we were celebrating my boyfriends birthday, they kindly decorated the room and went above and beyond with sweets and a card! And I loved how I requested for a certain meme and they printed it out and put it inside the card! Love it! Will stay again!

Great hotel. Everything you need in a hotel room with some cute extras like included mini bar and lollies at reception. Restaurant is great with a vegan concept. But, the best part are the staff - the service is fantastic. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they go over and above to help. We use it for interstate and international work colleagues visiting us and we never go wrong!

Noise insulation is bad, can hear next door noises , can hear the Tram and car noises all night. Air con keeps turning off 1st night, lack of sleep as I need to keep turning it back on otherwise room has no air circulation. Carpark is 3mins walk with hand held luggages and raining night was a terrible experience. Parking fee not included in the package. Paid $200 extra room fees for VIPooches booked a dog friendly room but unfortunately no courtyard got fined $500 for carpet cleaning after check out. Very disappointed experience as they billed you without discussion in advance. Ended up paid $650 per night x2 for a really tiny small room.

Eclectic decor which can be somewhat off-putting to some. Not the cool calm space you'll like at the reception.However the staff were amazing and well trained. Handled everything exceptionally smoothly and quickly.The vegan restaurant which is part of the hotel is top notch and brimming with roaring trade. Highly recommended.We booked the smallest room due to our budget. It was extremely comfortable and classy.Amazing experience. Well done guys!

This is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are decorated with and awesome theme. The staff was friendly and welcoming and it was surprising quiet for being on toorak road.I would definitely stay here again

Picked this place coz it was close to the famous chapel street. Happy and friendly staff, funky artsy interiors, it's the little things like free mini bar and loot bag (snacks), free lolly table and photo table with instax camera / props for fun snaps, that give this place the unique fun playful vibes! Modern, fun, quirky. The staff went above and beyond with my little birthday request for my partner!

I’ve stayed in my fair share of hotels, motels and airbnbs - most good and the occasional average place. Ovolo doesn’t compare to anywhere I’ve stayed. This funky AF hotel is decked to the max with vintage stylings and vinyl records everywhere. The free mini bar stocked with beer, soft drinks, chips, bars and chocolate. I couldn’t believe that it was real. Amazing facilities, great services and right in the heart of South Yarra. Not overly expensive, free wifi with chrome cast built into the tv - super easy connectivity. The amazing rainfall shower head was heaven. Picked by chance by the company, I cannot wait to come back again next week!LOVE LOVE LOVE
