Werribee South Caravan Park

BEWARE OF THE ARROGANT & DISRESPECTFUL RECEPTIONIST WHO GREETS YOU!!!We stayed here for a week in Nov 22 & loved our stay so much we booked another week for our return trip from Tassie in Apr 23. Today we returned to check-in for our 7 night stay - wow what a difference 5 months can make!!!We booked site 76 & paid 1 night deposit of $36. We arrived today expecting to receive the same warm welcome we received last time & be allocated our pre-booked site & to pay the remaining balance at the rate of $36/night without any hassle. The reception we received was completely unexpected & totally inappropriate. The receptionist was extremely arrogant & stated in a dismissive manner that site 76 was occupied & we’re now on site 77. When questioned she bluntly stated “oh well, that’s where you are going”. She then abruptly stated the rate is wrong it’s $44/night not $36 as it’s school holiday peak season. Her blunt tone of voice & dismissive attitude & demeanour resulted in us walking out cancelling our 7 night booking, forfeiting our $36 deposit. This was the last thing we needed after a long sleepless night on bumpy seas crossing back from Tassie.This obnoxious woman is completely irrational & inconsiderate & lacks any form of customer care/service. It’s such a shame that one individual power tripper can cause so much grief for well intentioned travellers. If she doesn’t like her job perhaps it’s time to move on & find another occupation that’s suitable for an arrogant woman with an obnoxious attitude.I hope Wyndham Council puts my $36 donation to good use & invests in some customer service training for some of their more challenged staff members!!

Very nice and clean caravan park. The self-contained cabins were very clean and spacious, 2 bedrooms, great showers, friendly staff and residents. My parents were only staying for 4-5 days ended up staying for 2wks.Would recommend anyone to stay a few days

Just stayed at this park with 2 other groups of friends , turned up at the park to find the woman in the office immediately come out and have a go at where our friends parked , we walked in to sort out our booking etc to find a woman in the office very rude and when answering any question incredibly short and to be honest downright rude, we had specifically asked for 3 sites next toEach other which we had 3 running’s sites , the second day we come back toOur sites to find they have put a caravan in between us , not understanding why we went to the office to ask as they put this van on one of our sites next to our van , when asked the question the answer was well we needed to put them somewhere , but we asked for3 sites next to each other and we were in the 3 marked sites and they clearly just put this van on one of our sites as per their own map , the response was simple they didn’t care in anyway , I would never stay at this park again in all my years of caravanning this is by far the worst parkI’ve stayed at , starting with their bad attitude and total rudeness to our friends to them putting a van in between our vans on a site we have paid for is totally unacceptable ! It’s not a bad spot but probably the rudest caravan parkPeople I’ve ever had to deals with ! Think twice before staying here!

I had my own caravan, so I don't know what the cabins are like, but everything was lovely and tidy and clean ..I felt safe and that was main thing ..I had a lovely stay on the bay

Just stayed last 3 nights here. Fantastic place, facilities always spotless, excellent management and staff, across road from beach and adjoining a huge pet friendly oval and 3 minutes walk to cafe with beautiful food. Only 40 minutes from home for us but we’ll definitely be back. 5 ⭐️

Stayed for three nights ..what a lovely park level site’s friendly staff ..toilets and showers very clean ..really enjoyed our time there..thanks to all

Stayed at the park in our caravan ,Great staff very accommodating ,very clean amenities, camp kitchen very well maintained, beach across the road .would recommend a stay .

Great little place. Very friendly locals, lovely coastal views. A most helpful manager who restarted our car with a flat battery, many thanks. Found it had a dead cell. We will be back!

Great park, well looked after. Handy for visiting Melbourne. Fishing opportunities available. Toilets were spotless
