Came in to get some earrings repaired. Staff were genuine, friendly and knowledgeable about product and sales. Very happy with my experience.

I adore Prouds. Even those on a budget can afford diamond and pearls at Prouds. However, you get what you pay for. I purchased a pair of pearl studs and the first time a wore them, one of the pearls feel off. The upside is they said they will replace them.I don't recommend buying anything from there that is platted. They're platted really thin and you only need to wear it twice before it starts to wear off. You get better quality played earrings from the local hairdresser, chemist, tattoo parlour or anywhere they did piercing.

Terrible experience. The staff were atrocious and did not know about the products in store. They also said there was a tax when making an exchange and gave the wrong change.. Not happy.

I went to Prouds Canberra City a couple of days ago to buy/order a Casio MDV106 watch. I was told by one of the specialist watch shops in the city that Prouds is really the only place in Canberra to sell Casio. The sales assistant directed me to the Casio cabinet and I could see immediately that the watch wasn't displayed - it was blue whilst the cabinet contained mostly black watches. Whilst the assistant found the watch in a catalogue, she said she couldn't order it in. I gathered from her demeanor that she really couldn't be bothered. I left the shop disappointed. I found the watch online through a different supplier and ordered it the same day. So much for shopping locally.
