KEF Accounting was engaged to complete Australian tax returns with respect to double taxation concerns for a U.S. expat in Australia. Accounting personnel stated that the firm had the international taxation expertise to handle the specific circumstances. Approximately five months after the initial conversations, KEF Accounting was still unable to finalize the returns and the request for services was terminated.The interaction with the firm highlighted a severe lack in internal organizational management and a sense of responsibility to the client. Throughout the process KEF Accounting personnel were often unresponsive and unable to meet self-determined delivery dates. Additionally, funds transferred to cover interim invoice expenses were never offered as a refund.
