Bordertown Bakery

1 ham salad roll and 1 chicken salad roll, right on midday so no excuse as to why it tasted and looked two days old. Disgusted, always was a nice bakery but now I will go to the other bakery.....

Very nice bakery. Love Beestings so had to try the one they had on offer and it didn't disappoint - $5.35 might seem a bit on the high side but it's big enough to share so definitely worth it.

We ordered a lamb gyros pie, pepper steak pie, a salad roll and a beesting for dessert. All were delicious, but the beesting and lamb gyros pie were exceptional. We'll be back. Staff were lovely too.

Just stopped in for a ‘traveller pie’ on my way to Adelaide. Just what the doctor ordered after almost 500kms on the road. I think this might be a regular stop for me next time I’m passing though. Friendly staff.

This is the second Bordertown bakery we tried during a road trip. First bakery was Morning Loaf as Bordertown Bakery is not open on Sundays . We came here on a Saturday at 11am. After spending a few minutes looking at what was in the pie rack, we requested our pies. We were told the labels in pie rack (with pies behind them) did not actually indicate that the pie was available. The shop assistant did not volunteer any info on the current available pies, which would have been handy. There were no takeaway sauce packets available here.We ate our pies (plain beef and beef and mushroom)in the lovely Bordertown rest area near Morning Loaf BakeryPies were not very hot and just were not what we expected from a country bakery.Next time we will head to Morning Loaf, pay $8 for a more fulfilling pie and have a pleasant service experience. Will BYO tomato sauce though!

Nice bakery but customer service extemely poor , stood for 3 minutes with no one to serve , then a grumpy female assistance moaned at us , only came in as Henry and rose had no vanilla slice , won't be back

The best pies and best hot chocolate in Bordertown. I have tried hot chocolate from all the other cafes in Bordertown but they have the best one for sure.The hot chocolate is really frothy. Love the cream lamington, it’s just yummy. Great service and great food.plus the takeaway cups are so adorable.

Great bakery hidden in the back streets, good food, great selection and great customer service.Stopped here twice on the way to Victoria and then back it was so good. Rolls are so tasty, along with the sausage rolls and even the cheese sausage roll. But by far my favourite was the chicken schnitzel burger. Made with schnitzel from the butcher across the road and I must say it was amazing, will certainly stop by if travelling past

This bakery may not look much from the outside, but the food is out of this world. BEST meat pie I have ever had. The pastry is to die for. The finger buns also amazing. The service was excellent as well. Too bad I live in Adelaide!!!!! Wish they delivered their produce here??

Had a beef salad roll here about 8 hrs ago. It tasted a bit old but unfortunately I finished it. Vomiting, the runs and stomach cramps started about 2 hrs after and are only just finishing up, but I still feel terrible. The only thing I ate all day, so you do the maths.
