Booked in for a roadworthy, needed two new tyres which I had fitted within an hour.Needed to book back in to get them to sign off on my roadworthy which was extremely frustrating as I needed it took hours get keep calling before someone would answer my calls.When I finally got through to reception to book back in the communication I received back was rude and totally unacceptable. I only booked with this company as initial customer service was fantastic.When I had my roadworthy signed off there was hidden charges to the value of $45 which was not mentioned to me at all.I still would not recommend evenIf the company was transparent wit further costs purely because of how rudely I was spoken down to.I will never use again or never recommend unfortunately.Horrible, time wasting, unprofessional & terrible customer service experience.The only good thing was the mobile mechanic who came out as he was quite pleasant to deal with.

I have used Auto King for my car service and recently for another Auto problem , Brian arrived both times exactly at the agreed time, he was very friendly, well presented, and he didn't speak to me like I was a silly woman who wouldn't understand, as I have experienced with other mechanics in the past. I will definitely be using Auto King again.

I gave one day's notice to get a car checked out urgently. The mechanic was happy to further elaborate and answer our questions on the phone afterwards. He had first-hand experience with the older classic car as he owned a couple himself. I'd highly recommend anyone buying a second-hand car to get Auto King to check it out for them.

My car broke down ( air conditioning compressor seized and serpentine belt broken ) about 8am in Nov 2019 while picking up family from Gold Coast Airport. Called Auto King and was told they could send a mechanic by 12:00pm. Was referred to Mick who quoted $800 to fix..Spoke to Mick and was told parts couldn't be delivered until the following day which I accepted.Next day I received a text from Mick to say he would be attending Bilinga address at 12:00pm. About 13:00 I called Mick to ask when he would attend.. Was told 30 min.. About 14:00 Mick arrived with no apologies and the customer service of a bikie..Inspite of his demeanour, MICK was able to efficiently replace the compressor but had the wrong belt. After getting the right belt from Repco he finished the job in an hour and charged me $1000, Desperate to get home I didn't argue with the price and paid with Credit card.. Was told the squealing sound from the engine was from the old belt which would diminish in time..The squealing sound continued for 4 months until the engine failed (smoke).. , Alternator has failed and needed replacing...Another $500 for new alternator and belt and everything seems OK..AUTO King mechanics are obviously skilled but need to work on customer service and forensic analysis of the problem..

Guy that came out was very rude. I had an important phone call I had to take and he stood there with his hands crossed instead of getting on with his job. Then when I got off the phone he called me rude even though I am paying for the service. It's not like he was a mate helping me out. I'm a customer and I payed him to do his job and he whinged about it.

Extremely pleased with auto king mobile mechanics. Job was done promptly, same day I booked in fact. There technician John is a great. Found him to be easy to deal with, knowledgeable and actually takes the time to explain things in a way that I can understand.Very impressedSteve

It will depend on the mechanic and their knowledge. I have used Auto King mechanics 3 times, first 2 times excellent , on one occasion I had 2 spark plugs stuck and the mechanic didn't want to risk snapping them he referred me to a mobile thread mechanic.Last occasion had a drive shaft broken in an ifs 4x4 , mechanic said I needed to get a custom length drive shaft made, therefore unable to do job.( not so replaced with OE shaft by another mechanic)I have found their dispute procedure for claiming back their call out fee to be so far easy, and the staff courteous to speak with.

I found Daniel was very informative in each step he took. I was very happy with his work and will be calling him again soon to finish my repairs.
