Midland Women’s Health Care Place

This place and it’s staff are life savers. I have received an immense amount of support via their Babies on the Move, Circle of Security, and Bluezone (playgroup), as well as one on one support. As a new mother, they have helped me grow, recover, connect. It’s a safe haven for all women and children.

I built the courage to self refer here to speak to a psychologist and have found finding this place has been a godsend.All female staff. Welcoming and safe. Huge range of services offered...Low cost counselling.Pap smears.Creche on TuesdaysClasses to learn techniques for managing anxiety and depression.Art therapy.Physical activities (Pilates, tai chi).Support groupsLibrary of self help books.Kind and non judgemental staff who care and will help you find resources in Perth.For me the hardest part was to take a deep breath, walk in the door and remind myself I'm worthy of being helped. It was so worth it.By the way... Parking is the one downside. If you park on Midland oval go ask for a carpark pass from reception to put in your car while you visit. There are 4 bays at the centre (one disabled) but it is a tight carpark.
