Contramestre Gringo is an outstanding person with an immense amount of energy and endless love for Capoeira and his students. I am so grateful to have gotten a chance to learn and play Capoeira with Ancestrais. I was a student from 2012 till 2016 whilst living in Perth and miss the group very much. It's not just the physical part of capoeira, its well about the history of capoeira, the music and the songs and the get togethers and the events with international guests. Kids class is awesome. Affordable prices and relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely try the adults classes next year as they resume! Looks like a good core, agility and coordination workout in a friendly environment! 5 stars.

Ancestrais Capoeira
A warm and friendly club, the Mestre is an excellent teacher and you never stop learning. Prices are incredibly good and training times are quite flexible. Even as a shift worker I manage to make it at least one or 2 days per week. Don't be put off by the advanced Capoeiristas, they are kind to beginners and you can train at your own level.
