Riverside Tavern
The location is great, it is right next to the river with a great breeze. The food for us was amazing and cooked right after 10 minutes. They have toilets, a bar, games for kids, indoor and outdoor seating and a nice atmosphere.They also play some music and are very friendly, the staff are nice and quick which is nice. The menu is pretty generic but the food is really nice, My biggest issue is they didn't check if we were vaccinated or seat us.Overall very nice place, would recommend.

Came here while staying at Crescent Head. So better than anything local. Indoors and outside tables, puppy and family friendly. I and the rump which was delicious with tasty mushroom sauce. Husband had the burger which he claims was one of the best, ever!!! Big claim.Chilled and relaxed vibe with a great menu and quality meals. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Just had a fantastic meal at this pub. We all had fish and chips. Fish was fresh, chips were great, nice little side salad and the portions were huge!! They were more than happy to accommodate our request for gluten free fish and chips (noted that they weren’t too busy, so had time to do it).Great pub, great view. Well worth a visit!

The vista doesn't get much better than this. Teemed with a huge plate of perfectly cooked salt and pepper calamari on a bed of thinnish CRISPY chips and a slaw, almost unbeatable. The chicken schnity was moist and also perfectly cooked. The waiter was a friendly, happy young man and all the staff were the same. There's a good assortment of beer on tap and a good range of wines to boot.

Nice little spot, and the food was good though could be more proportionate. We all had the beer battered flathead, and there was very minimal salad (which was delicious), too much batter on the fish, but overall it was fresh, chips cooked perfectly, and came with three large flathead fillets. The ice coffee and milkshakes were wonderful as well.

Wouldn’t have known Riverside Tavern existed if it wasn’t for our local friend who was kind to recommend this place. Staff were friendly, orders were reasonably priced and delivered to our table in a timely manner. Bustling with customers and it’s easy to see why. Food is good and portioned well. Presentation is tidy and the tavern kept clean. What I noticed was how proactive staff were. Great to see.

Fantastic place for catch-up. Food excellent, especially the butter chicken. Could not get over how tender the chicken was. Was not rushed at all so able to have a good catch up with friends. Ambience was fantastic and very relaxed. Staff very helpful. Great quick service.
