A great museum, well worth the visit. Great displays, historical items and articles, rich in history of Morpeth and surrounds. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will be back for sure. Great staff, located in the centre of town. Highly recommended.

Morpeth Museum
A local folk museum in the rooms of an old Justice Court. A wide range of items across the years are on display. The original biscuit tins from town label Arnotts, printed stories of regional characters, including ghosts and the redoubtable fathers of the colony & town of Morpeth. Could easily spend an hour reading and viewing what is on offer.

Nice little museum in the old courthouse. Even as a local I still see stuff I haven't seen before and find out information I didn't know about the area.

Great museum with a lot to look at and activities to participate in. Staff were friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge. Alan was fantastic at explaining the items on display and had great enthusiasm for the museum.

Facinating little place. Took the old folks with me. One went off looking for her favourite trinkets and the other found one of the guys behind the counter and they both talked each other's ears off. Had to run back later to buy some things for them. Overall a fantastic little place to stop in a very picturesque little part of town.

Morpeth museum, situated in the Court House opened my eyes to the rich history of the town.Featuring the beginnings of Arnott's biscuits, Oak milk company and once was 14th largest town in Australia, having 2 steam ships travelling daily to Sydney

Surprisingly great little museum at Morpeth. Great for the kids, lots of detail of what is there, including Arnotts biscuits history. Highly recommended. I want to say a thanks to the informative volunteers there. It's a great way to spend a few hours.

Beautiful old building. Great history in the area and way cool resemblance to the tower in Back to the future.
