Chris catered for our wedding day at a very reasonable cost. He was very easy to communicate with and he arrived on time with no issues.Chris and his waitress were on site for a total of 4hrs. There pizzas are absolutely delicious and their garlic beard is even better.We would recommend The Woodfire pizza king to anyone and for any event. Thanks again Chris.

Booking Chris for our event was a huge mistake. His pizzas were bland, generic and the bases were obviously store bought and frozen. I’ve honestly had better pizzas from the fast food brands like dominoes.Chris himself was constantly rude to anyone attempting to help him out unless they were a young, attractive female. His helpers looked pretty miserable from the little bit I observed them and I’m guessing it wouldn’t be much fun working for someone like Chris.I was very much entertained by Chris’ outfit which includes a hat that he was constantly adjusting to have it slanted off to the side. He was doing everything to appear like a chef yet having none of his food up to scratch.Funnily enough, I had actually seen a number of other reviews speaking of similar experiences back when looking around for a caterer but they have since disappeared and his rating has jumped from 3.7 to 4.7 stars. I’m wondering if this review will also get deleted or whether it will be able to stay up as a warning to others considering Chris as a caterer.I have personally spent just over 25 years as a chef across all avenues of hospitality and so I speak from experience while writing this review. I’ve never seen a worse caterer than Chris in my life and I hope I never have an experience like this again. Hopefully he can improve his product and behaviour rather than deleting the criticism and continuing as he currently is.

The Woodfired Pizza King contributed to making my birthday a fantastic night. Chris' guidance, communication and service was impeccable from the very first contact (despite my poor phone service) and his expertise and passion in catering such events evident. The pizza got high commendations from my guests and the garlic bread was delicious. I would not hesitate to use Chris' services again and would highly recommend his business to anyone wishing for a seamless catered function.

Chris catered for my husbands 80th. It will be a party remembered for a long time. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely & I can safely say that a lot was contributed to you & your wonderful pizza’s. Everyone raved about them. Great friendly service too.

I had Chris to cater for my 60th birthday 10 years ago and just recently had Chris come back and cater for my 70th Birthday. The pizzas where absolutely delish and there where many great compliments from my guests. Thanks Chris service was great. Would recommend the Pizza King to everyone. ✌️

Pizza King catered my wedding of 80 with ease. The service was great and the food was amazing! So many people commented afterwards saying how tasty the pizzas were. Chris discussed all details with me thoroughly, ensuring I was confident and comfortable with how it was all going to go on the day. I didn’t have a single worry. Celebrated my wife’s birthday yesterday - Chris and his team provided amazing food while always friendly and professional. Despite the threat of inclement weather his set up and pack down was fast and the food was spectacular. Highly recommended .
