We had and amazing experience from start to finish in the hardest time of our lives. From the initial call with Peta to the service and after care there was nothing to fault. They were professional, caring, compassionate and understanding. The price was very reasonable and that was with add ons we required. They didn't push us to purchase items that weren't necessary and were very accommodating especially when we sourced our Coffin elsewhere. Lisa was absolutely amazing and helped every step and encouraged me to participate in the dressing which was hard but an amazing experience I'm glad I didn't miss. From the Allen family that you so much to Lisa, Peta, Hamish and the while Simplicity team. I hope to never have to recommend a funeral director but if I do it would be this amazing team.

All i asked for my Son, was a simple private viewing for immediate family with a specific CD, which was important to my Buddhist spiritual practice, to be played. I even went to great lengths to ensure the CD was in their possession by traveling from Sunshine Coast to hand deliver the CD. Unfortunately, they didn't bring the CD to the chapel on the day. How difficult can it be to get such a simple but important detail right? Strangely, no apology was offered on the day, just a callous offer to get iTunes up on the computer, mistakenly believing that on such a day, i would want to trawl through iTunes. I even had to chase Robin for 3 days to arrange return of my CD.Simply, Simplicity Funerals ruined the last memory of my Son. I would not recommend these people. If they stuff up something so seemingly simple, how could they be trusted to ensure a full service runs smoothly? Don't entrust these people with your final memory of your loved one! They don't live up to their slogan.I've had further discussions with Kelly. While obviously unable to undo what has been done, she at least knows how to listen and comes across as somebody who is capable of professionalism by showing care, compassion & understanding. She was also a great comfort on that special day when things went wrong. Thank-you Kelly.

We cannot thank Peta Tinkler and the team from Simplicity Funerals Kedron enough! The level of professionalism and compassion she showed our family during such a difficult time of losing our Mum was amazing. She made things so easy and nothing was a problem for her when creating Mum's Memorial Service booklet and slide show. Roseann Whyte officiated on the day and was also so wonderful and caring. So many of our family and friends who attended commented on how lovely the service was and just perfect for our Mum.

Our thanks to Lisa and Peta from Simplicity Kedron. We were very pleased with the compassionate service, professionalism, and attention to detail. We were offered a range of choices, costs clearly explained , itemized and very competitive.Due to the current unexpected COVID lockdown and then ongoing restrictions for funerals our arrangements had to be broken into 2 parts.Lisa was always approachable to discuss and accommodate our requests. Fr. Gerard Mc Morrow was such a sincere and friendly priest who made us all feel included in the memorial service.Our floral arrangement of Australian natives was absolutely beautiful and the flowers had that just picked freshness and smell about them.All the technology was well organized so family members who could not be there had a live zoom link , plus the music /photo segment was well produced and a very enjoyable part to the service.We found the funeral to be what we wanted and our mother would have loved the arrangements. Thanks so much Lisa for making the occasion run so smoothly and be so memorable.
