Enjoyed the seafood platter for 2, with a bottle of Brown Brothers Moonstruck Shiraz, which surprisingly paired well with the meal. The seafood was expertly cooked, melting in your mouth, with subtle but distinct flavours. Would perhaps like to have seen a couple of additional flavours (seared scallops and Oyster Kirkpatrick), at the loss of a couple of battered flathead tails (although these were still impressively good).The service was wonderful, with the waiters listening and acting upon requests. The atmosphere was pleasant, without breaking any new grounds.Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would recommend to others who enjoy great seafood and a relaxed atmosphere. Cheers everyone!!**Update**Went back the following week and asked for the scotch fillet steak. The steak was cooked to perfection. Medium rare and a solid piece of meat, well trimmed! Have changed the food rating from a 4* to a 5*. They clearly have excellent chefs who can cook both seafood and steak exceptionally well. Well done!

This has become one of our favourite local places to eat. The staff are lovely, servings generous, booths are comfy and the food is well priced. Special mention to the chilli garlic prawn main, it is absolutely delicious.

Thoroughly enjoyed everything about my experience here. The lovely serving team of Sam and Kaitlyn (I hope I spelled it correctly) greeted us with lovely smiles. Then when the cup of coffee was served we were asked to let them know if the coffee wasn’t up to par, so they could replace it, as it was one of the first coffees she had made for a customer. I call this true customer service. Also the food was superb. I had the chicken liver parfait for entree and it was so smooth and yummy. Then for mains I had their waterfront seafood delight which was also delicious. To top everything off the garlic and herb bread we ordered to share is absolutely the best I have ever tasted and as (for me) garlic bread is a must when I eat out, then at the age of 65 I have tried a lot of it. I can’t rate the team, including those behind the scenes, high enough.I would certainly recommend them to ever

I actually love this place and the food, except when I took my son for his birthday. Very disappointing!!We ordered entrees, .... and plates cleared and main meals served within minutes.Not good???My son didn't get what he ordered re Ribs. He got Ribs and wings. Same as I had ordered. They took his meal away. Then returned it re the same exact plate . Then was told rest of meal to come.His newly served Ribs were better!, compared to his others and mine. They tasted fresh and tasty with flavour.Also our waitress was nice, but ?? A bit lacking, that is other waitresses I have dealt with at the restaurant were 100%.Not sure why or what the changes, but both front and back of house were not at their best on this occasion.Also it was not busy with customers on the night. Family friendly and clean small café/restaurant just on the ground floor of Southeast Water Building facing the sea/ water. They have indoor and outdoor dinning options. Heating system was perfect - not too hot but enough to make you warm and cozy. Friendly and welcoming staffs. There’s ample pay parking around so, no worries. We cannot fault our breakfast, all were deliciously cooked and put together. We love the chorizo. It’s spicy just right. Serving portions were good - enough to make your belly full and right for its price! We didn’t enjoy our coffee though - the reason why we rate this place 4 stars. It was lacking kick of coffee itself. Other than that, we enjoyed our breakfast. We will definitely come again. We highly recommend this place for everyone.

Delicious food, nice environment and very relaxing. Was my first time dining here.The only feedback I'd give is service would be exceptional if the waitress provided advice that the waterfront seafood delight had the same calamari as the calamari entree and instead gave another suggestion.

Quite a nice and relatively cheap meal with huge servings, sometimes when you get huge servings the food isn't that nice however the parama is one of the best around and the seafood pallet was really nice, for us it work have fed three

All our meals were excellent and the choice was extensive. The wine and drinks menu was value for money. We enjoyed our meals so much that we all had a desert which was again excellent.I will be looking forward to dining again at the Waterfront Restaurant to try some of the other lovely meals on the menu. Thank you for making our family lunch catch up a very memorable time.
