I got denied entry into the SEAL class through the interview because I stated that I wanted to go to a selective school in year 9, even if the school is good the school should focus more the the future of the students rather than trying to keep the smart kids to themselves in order to get good VCE scores for the school. Some of my friends that went to the school said that when they would take about any selective school( particularly Nossal) they would get into trouble by the teacher that heard it. If you are thinking about going to the SEAL class, do not say what i did as it could ruin your chances of getting in.

Teachers need to listen to students, the school is way too heavy on the workload, therefore stressing students out and students develop a habit of not wanting to learn or do any work. The school may say that it has 6 periods BUT they make them all into doubles so you end up spending 1hour and 40 minutes in one class rather than 50 minutes, I think this is absurd and I don't think that i have really learned anything affectively since i started at this school

Some of the teachers are amazing and helpful, which made me look forward to going to school only on the days I had those classes. The double period structure is incredibly boring as some teachers take advantage of it. Exam revision periods" are just simply like private study periods... it's so boring and it's better to stay home. Exams from Year 7 onwards creates stress

If you want a good education then any school in Australia will provide it. don't blame it on teachers and the rules.This school is great, caring teachers and always more than happy to give a you help.the bad reviews seem to be from students or parents who can't handle the fact that their own children are doing the wrong things and never take a second look at themselves or their kids behaviour.

miss hensel scares me all the time. she just appears out of nowhere and she thinks she's black. she's a witch i swear do you see her wrinkles and her robes that she wears. THUMBS DOWN

Do not or are not really equipped to deal with special needs or those withChallenging behaviours. They just suspended them from school, no real effort is placed to work with these kids and post lockdown school refusal is at its highest.The staff are burnt out and load their passion to teach and that reflectsIn the treatment of their students

As a student, the classes are great and having double periods are effective. Teachers generally do care about the students and if something is wrong, they do not hesitate to ask. Teachers can sometimes seem uninterested in their jobs making classes boring and not being present for most classes.
