We had the same experience as B Gibson when we trued to book for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We too have stayed in many places in Australia & around the world and were taken a back when told we had to provide government photo ID, never been asked before. All good we booked another water front view home down the road for less.Further note - we have also booked holiday rental in Huskisson at the same time via AirBnB supplying our credit card details. No photo ID required
