I shopped at Coles Pelican Waters while house sitting recent. The staffer at the self service checkout was so pleasant and friendly, the store was clean and well stocked, and I was able to find everything I was looking for.

Have been to this store a couple of times. Last year at the beginning of the pandemic when some items were in high demand (yes toilet paper), I was able to buy it here. Same for mince etc. Was glad to have found it.

Checkout kid on Saturday night was friendly and helpful. Stay away from the checkout girls where they sell the cigarettes and sim cards. Total attitude problem. Unfriendly. Unhelpful. Was there in late October and they told me to look for a simcard at the checkout area. I clearly couldnt find it, nor was it easy to find and the place was empty - regardless no help. Probably suffer from schadenfreude which you often see people in these work roles have. Sunshine coast attitude is what we call it. A lot of the staff seem unhappy.

Everything you would expect from the big chain. Lots of produce and lots of stock with a wide selection. They have a lot of products that cater for dietary requirements along with a bit of hot food available in the deli section.Staff are friendly and service is prompt.

For a small Coles it has the necessities, but if you are used to shopping at a large Coles Supermarket you will be disappointed in the range of stock available. They don’t stock all the specials either, I have noticed, or maybe it’s just items I’m looking for. Customer service has always been really needs reviewing and training. Fresh foods really need a good do over have found out of date stock on shelves and products going out of date not marked down enough to make it a viable purchase. The Fruit and Vegetable Section desperately needs a overhaul, there is very often rotten produce left on display and talking to other customers this is the normal. Saddens me to see a shop that is supposed to be in a upper scale area so poorly managed.
