The team of sensitive and compassionate people who work at Dunn's (Simon and his crew) made the journey of placing My Dad to rest an absolutely breeze. It was done with pride , dignity and empathy. I spoke with Simon many times either text or calls even wkends and he always found the time to reply and be helpful . Dunn's handled the whole process for me and organised a gathering after my dads service. The booklets made and the memory book was absolutely beautiful I can not recommend these amazing people enough. I could not speak more highly of this service, when my children lost their dad and left nothing for them to give him a funeral these kind respectful people went out of their way to help and gave their father the best respectful funeral. Two other love ones funeral has been arranged by Dunn's and again cannot thank them enough. It is horrible when thing do not go well, my heart goes out to families in that situation.

Absolutely brilliant care and service. Professional, excellent communication and an incredible care factor. EVERYTHING that Simon and Oscar initiated and completed for us was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. Whatever we asked for, they made sure that it happened precisely. They actually went above and beyond what we asked. They were very respectful and kind.Also a shout out to the florist they use. Stunning beyond words. And also to the celebrant Steve English - he was the absolute best. They are the best funeral service in Launceston and they use the best people so that your funeral is memorable beyond words and highly successful. Thank you Oscar and Simon. You guys are awesome.

Myself and my family can't thank Simon Rice & the rest of his team at J.A Dunn Launceston enough for the beautiful service they held for my beautiful grandmother Margaret Rose Thurstun. From the very first communication my mother had with Oscar, all the way through to meeting with Simon in person and planning out what we wanted and how we wanted it to go was absolutely seamless and made so easy on us all.Everything they promised, they delivered and now I completely understand why my Gran chose to have her funeral through these guys and that's who we will continue to go through for many years to come.Simon has such a wonderful sense of humor but at the same time, takes his job extremely seriously and has an absolute heart of gold.We wanted to go outside the norm and have Clydesdale horses & carriage rather than a hearse for my Gran and the team didn't even hesitate to make it all work. We also had bagpipes and a drummer which Simon sorted for us, along with catering and everything else in-between so we didn't have to do much at all.I would also like to add, when it came to the day and we had my Grans viewing before the funeral, she looked absolutely stunning and you could tell just how well she had been cared for, and for that I can never say thank you enough.If you're ever considering using these guys either for your own prepaid funeral like my grandmother did, or for your loved ones I would absolutely recommend them 100% and I guarantee you will not regret it!Thank you so much again to the wonderful team at J.A Dunn, we will be forever grateful for your kindness.

Dunns did not ask my family for money in advance. Account was sent six weeks after the funeral and the quoted price I was given was the price I was charged. Very happy with the excellent service. They went out of their way to be helpful to my family and I. Wonder why you were not happy with your service.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!- **would not recommend**Take advantage of you financially when your vulnerable and emotional.Gave my family an incorrect fee at the beginning then came up to us throughout my dads viewing requesting more money with the excuse of I forgot to charge you the ad newspaper fee or service fee"Sent my family an additional $1900 invoice a month later then had a rude man call up advising that we were in the wrong and there's no way that they would request more money throughout the viewing basically calling my family and I liars.My family has never felt so disrespected with the lack of organisation & Compassion. We would not want anyone to go through what we did and currently still are.Just a warning if you consider using this company as you do want to make the worst day of your life more horrible from people who are meant to assist you."
