Gee is AMAZING! She is so talented and works with a fantastic group of vendors (best in Tassie). We had an intimate wedding at Avalon Coastal Retreat and Gee really took the time to get to know us and to curate a perfect day for us. Her styling was beautiful down to every detail and she coordinated our day for us so perfectly. She’s also very responsive and organized and so lovely to work with. Gee is authentic and creative in her approach to making your visions, come to life. We gave Gee a few ideas and pics of what we had envisioned for our day and Gee listened and took our ideas and added her own creative flare and absolutely nailed the brief + really encapsulated both of our personalities. We swear she knew us better than we knew ourselves. She definitely understood the assignment!!Gee communicates with you throughout the whole process and is very consistent with sending updates and assisting with any questions and queries, you may have. When looking at the directory of the different vendors Gee works alongside, it is clear the reach and the respect Gee has in the wedding + hospitality industry because the vendors that Gee matched us with were just amazing.Gee is very down to earth, makes you feel heard and is genuinely a beautiful person. If you're looking for an amazing partner to have on your team for your wedding day, look no further.We knew Gee was the one after our first meeting with her, she really listened to us, took time to understand our brief and what we were after. In that first session she gave us confidence in our wild ideas and vision and expressed so much enthusiasm to make it a reality, which got us really excited for our big day.We selected the full package of Designing, Planning and Day of Coordination. Our wedding was located at Sam’s parents property so it was important to have the full support to make our dreams come true.The design process was so much fun, Gee nailed the vision in the first go. She is so knowledgeable about the best vendors to work with and the best stock available to execute the design flawlessly. We made tweaks along the way and Gee was always there with solutions, no piece of feedback or challenge from us was ever too hard.It’s hard to say what part of the package was most beneficial, but I know Gee put in an immense amount of work in the planning. She looked after all the vendor bookings, organizing and negotiations and we simply had to approve. She clearly communicated timelines, so we never missed a deadline. Most of this was done via email which was great because if we ever needed to recall a detail or look back at something it was all there for us.We threw a real spanner in the works about 6 weeks out from the wedding date, deciding last minute that we needed a Marquee. Gee got to work immediately altering a huge part of our plans and working with vendors to pull off the seemingly impossible. This was a stressful time for Sam and I and she took this burden on for us, what an angel!!In the lead up to the big day, we were at ease because we knew Gee had everything covered. The Dear Leone team executed the styling and design beautifully, working with the other vendors to bring our 4 unique spaces to life. It sounds like a cliché, but the day went perfectly, everything went to plan, and our wild ideas were turned into a reality. We were on such a high and the whole time completely calm and not having to worry about any of the details, vendor communications or keeping to the schedule we just got to enjoy ourselves and our guests.We are so grateful to Gee and the Dear Leone team for their passion, commitment, and effort to executing the ‘wedding of the century’ (as many guests coined it).
