Walking in, the empty venue on a public holiday in a coastal town should have been a red flag! We were rudely addressed when we asked for a drinks menu to sit out on the balcony because we don't really do that; we operate as a restaurant". Given we were the only people (group of 4 adults) there

You can sit up the top and overlook the main Street and down to the beach. The Steak Surf and turf was amazing washed down with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon recommend by the team. It took a while to get the food to the table but it was so worth the wait. I will definitely be visiting this place for lunch again next time we are in Ocean Grove and would recommend this place to anyone.

What a great find. Host was so obliging even opening a little earlier as we had an appointment. Service from the owner was very friendly and food was an amazing. Had a very generous serve of lovely piece of barramundi, large prawns and oysters at a VERY reasonable price. No sides were required. Desserts were great too. Zebra decorations very tastefully done. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Never a miss a visit to Zebra when in Ocean Grove. Home of one the best 'surf and turf' menu in Victoria. Reasonable price for the high quality seafood and steak served. Absolutely a delicious meal in a friendly environment.Glad to see you're still around.Thanks for providing a great evening.

Pretty disappointing. If you are going to charge $160 for a seafood platter you would want it to be fantastic. Oysters were very very odd, fish tasted frozen and the feta smelt off. The calamari as actually fantastic so that was a plus.Service was average. We had better fish n chips directly across the road for quarter of the price.Great menu but overall the produce was the biggest letdown . I would not recommend.

Have been at this place many times. Due to limited menu usually have the Parma. Ordered the prawn pasta which was tasteless (where was the garlic and chilli). Could not eat it! Stated I did not want to pay for it. - owner very aggressive and took it personally and stated it was not try before you buy! Paid for the disgusting meal but will never return! Don’t these people understand customer satisfaction is their business SHAME SHAME SHAME!
